I was going through the "Post Your Awesome Weapons Thread!" and it jogged my memory that Tramp had an amazing Req8 Colossal Scimitar. Think these could still drop? I might try epic no life farming for one if so :P

If they onced dropped, they still drop, post-NF, there were no weapon updates.. So, gl finding one :P

Also, I can quite confidentially say that blue and white inscr daggers DO NOT drop in max damage. I have about 80 screenshots atm all from daggers that dropped in DoA, all white or blue, and up to q12, but NONE max damage... Unless someone proves me different, I think we can take this as fact..

Infamous Tyrian req8 5nrg weps (still looking for my shorty sword btw!)

Btt: Tramp's Colossal could be an August 2007 (EotN Release Event Time) drop. We think (Yawg and me at least talked about that a bit) that for the time of the event drops in all GW could have behaved kinda "strange". But just speculation here.... so maybe we'll never know.

The infamous EotN Release Event - hmm, maybe I´am a half glas full guy, but I believe/hope that not every Q8 freak-item with an inscription stems from this once in a livetime event.

It is still possible in this game to go to places where nobody/not many went before and maybe there with more patience than the others you have your "special" item.

I once leveled myself to the "Legendary Defender of Cantha" (LvL 20 in the Cantha Tut BEFORE all primary missions, no it´s not a real title) just to farm the Cantha primary quests in HM.

I did not find the a Q8 20/10 Bo-Staff I was looking for, but hey ...

If you want to find items nobody found before, than you have to go to places nobody went before.
At this moment I have two such places aktive, just think and be patient.

Dont think ive ever seen q7 max choas axe, why wouldn't they exist?

There is atleast 2 Chaos axes r8 +5e excisting ingame. heard rumours of more but never seen

And no, dont think max r7 chaos axe would excist. r7 axes overall are really rare so for rarer skins not even worth dreaming about

Hmm intresting about the Colossal. Would be worth asking Tramp whenever his about. Id love to know if he got it as a drop or bought it. Would really love one of them, not because of how much itd sell, but cause its overall leetness :P

i belive he bought it, also they drop nm. If u played at nf release Colossal scimitars & elemental swords were really rare and wanted. HM didnt excist then. Im positively sure r8 colossal could drop from corsais warriors in normal mode.. But ofc extreamly rare

So i guess best chance for a Q8 one would be farming the beginning of Moddok Crevice right? But there level 16 or 18, and if the earlier one, they wont drop max damage.

I also happen to know someone who has a Q8 Elemental Sword

EDIT: There level 17 in NM, so if they do drop in NM, this would be best bet for a Req8.

Yes, we know q8 inscr swords still drop, I've got one myself, but we're talking about tyrian skinned q8 uniscr +5e weapons. Never seen one myself :P

There are no Prophecies-only skins for swords that drop from monsters; they are all core skins. Which means that, potentially, the Wingblade and Fellblade mentioned actually dropped in Factions. This would mean that you can probably get any sword skin that still drops from monsters as one with max damage, Q8, and +5 energy (or insc).

This one is on a lot of people's minds I think: Is there a q8 +5e Shortsword?

And second one: Are there/could there have been q6/15 shield pre-NF? Because back then nonmax = shit, so it might have been that a lot of nice q6/15 shields dropped, but people just went 'meh, non max' and merched em...

its core cus FoW is accesible from all campaings..

For shortsword. Sure its possible. personally havent seen one but ofc cud be possible. and still even dropable
