A couple more new min stats for the list. OK I admit it - I'm addicted to this.

in case u come across such place - let me know, I´ll happily join in
I can say: lvl10 won´t drop gold (reason see below)

Bosses are known to have better droprates for purple and gold items, and observations over the years definitely confirm this, but I can't say for sure it's not just because a boss drops multiple items where a normal foe drops just one (except a few special exceptions rolled separately).
Anyway, having the boss status certainly won't make a monster able to drop golds (or purples) if a normal monster of the same level cannot.
|
I can confirm 100% sure: lvl7 will drop purple (not too rare from those), whereas lvl5 won´t - do some charrruns in the northlands and u´ll find out
well generally tutorial is pretty interesting for such research, because any item in there is from there and high items were kept there. Thus the items considered max in pre are 99.999999% maximum for lvl 10 foes to drop (just because highest lvl mobs in pre dropping items is lvl 10. So highest dmg from q10 foes is 7-19 on axe, 12-16 on sword, 10-16 on staves (whereas a single 10-17 staff is known in tutorial...), 15-25 on hammers, 12 arm on shields, 12-20 on bows, 10-16 on wands and 9ene on focus. for lvl 8 it´s 11 arm on shields and not too sure on the others. lvl 7 and lvl 8 foes still can drop q0 tho (because there are purple req0 weps in tutorial and some of those were confirmed or witnessed by me to drop from lvl8 warriors there)
So in conclusion: foe dropping purple won´t make it possible to drop gold!
my expected ranges for highest rarity:
white: lvl 0 (dunno if white or blue)
blue: lvl 1-5
purple: lvl 6-10
gold: lvl 11-40
I realize this is getting away from original thread topic, thus I´d consider opening another thread listing dmg and req ranges as well as rarity ranges on foes of certain lvl. This thread here should probs stay clear of this direction of drop research.

This was in Tears of the Fallen, so the skales were level 17-18. Believe this was from a level 17 Blighter.

Posting for low level gold. Doesn't beat the stats on my previous one though. Dropped during feather farm run in Cantha.

Guess you put the wrong picture then, that wand is neither gold nor canthan.
Btw, here are some more min stats items, not many since I've been playing very little lately.
Q8 Blue hammer 13-21
Q11 Blue hammer 16-30
Q8 White spear 11-18
Q12 Gold daggers 7-15
Q5 Purple shield 8 AR
Q3 Blue staff 12/6/7-10
Q4 Blue staff 12/6/6-10
Q6 Blue staff 12/6/7-10

Hi.... i have maybe many items in my collection that might fill loads of the pre-NF gaps... (although they wont give u a upper and lower limit each tho)
i merged them all on a screen...
Not sure which of them are intresting for you, just screened anything thats nonmax ^^
the picture is a bit big, so here the links:

Staff req2 15/7/8-13 - exceeds/hits current max of each base stat seperately
Staff req5 16/8/10-18 - new highest DMG for q5
Axe q13 6-27 new minimum for q13 (just took notice of this in Sale thread)
working on a collection of lowest dmg items I can get, too lazy to post a screen whenever a new one drops, collection going well, will post entire collection in few weeks (busy in rl atm)
Just an idea about how to make the OP a lot smaller: how about assembling all stats in a table with different reqs in different rows and different weapons in different columns? and making the reference link directly behind the DMG listed, like so: (column: staff; line: req2) entry: 15/7/8-13? (I think it´s irrelevant who posted the pic to anyone using the thread - and if it was not one could just click the link and be amazed )
I think such would make things a lot easier, because u could assemble the whole data on one screensize. I know it would be a lot of work the first time, but I´m positively sure it would ease actually using the thread for reference a lot - will readily assist at doing such!
Thanks a lot, Luny, for keeping this up to date

Interesting idea, Thanks! I've not yet messed with the newfangled table bbCode we have here, but I can try to figure something out.
I always kept the names in there simply figuring some folks might be more inclined to help if they got some kind of credit for finding new records, and with the existing format it didn't really take up any extra room to have them there. I suppose it's a worthy sacrifice to drop them in the interest of making the OP a faster quick-reference.
