I don't think there's any difference in maximum possible stats based on text color beyond the 17% cap on HSR for white and blue (loot drop) staffs.

Are you only interrested in the basic damage of inherrent melee weapons, or also interrested in the +xx% mods (Obviously not aplicable to inscribable versions as they can be changed)?

Meaning, If you have a white weapon listed in the OP with y-z damage but no +xx% modifier and I find the same damage, but with 12^50, is that interresting for the thread research?

Im asking because you are including the staff HCT and HSR modificatins as a sort of undercategory, but not the other inherrent statuses.

It includes staff HSR, which is part of a staff's base. HCT on staffs is not considered, as that comes only from prefix or inherent/inscription mod.

It's set up to consider just the bases of gear, not the inscription or inherent mod(s.) So that's ...
- Damage range for all martial weapons and wands
- Armor for shields (not including conditional bonus armor from inherent mods or inscriptions)
- Energy for foci (not including conditional bonus energy from inherent mods or inscriptions)
- The combination of built-in HSR of all spells, energy, and damage range on staffs (not including bonus energy from attached mods or inscriptions.)

We're really just looking at the "base" of the item, if you will. For inscribable gear, that's all the parts you cannot change with inscriptions or mods. For inherent gear, it's everything except the inherent mod(s) which are replaced by inscriptions on an item's inscribable counterpart (and suffix mods for the case of shields, foci and wands.)

The general idea is that finding "perfect" gold versions of every max for every req. would take forever if we could do it at all. However, with the exception of HSR on staffs being capped at 17% for blue and white versions, the base of any color item can give us information on the theoretical max-for-low-req. gold's base stats, too. And whites and blues drop a lot more often!

The way I've got the OP set up now, I think it would look even more cluttered and complicated if I started linking multiple shots showing the same stat item for a specific line. That's why I don't include links to later shots we get.

However, Ari did set this up originally to also have a "gallery" of the fancier gold things we found. If you find a fancy gold version of something we've already got a junky white shot as proof of the same stats, there is no reason you can't post a picture here! Someone might take on compiling that gallery someday, and there very well may be folks interested in the shinier gold-texted examples. So, if you find a gold one you want to post - go for it!

Oh, it certainly doesn't hurt to have multiple confirmation pics that things can drop! You're welcome to post them for sure. I just figure once we get one screenshot of a record, that's enough to link off the OP as sufficient proof for anyone reading it and thinking, "No way! The max can't be that high for this req."

EDIT - Thanks for the clarification. Given that it was assigned to you, I was assuming Factions ... Pleikki doesn't play where he might get inscription cooties on his boots.

Had this drop today in Oola's Lab... so it's EotN. I just noticed you didn't have a pic up (or stats, actually) for a q6 inscribable sword. Hope it's ok that I didn't remove the inscription first... didn't want to risk breaking it and I don't have a perfect salvage handy.

Yeah, that's photoshopped, though. Look closely at the "6" there, and then look at the actual character "6" in game. He just did 180 deg. flip on a 9.

I won't be including that on the OP list here unless I see it in game in the trade window and take my own screenshot ... which I would then post here for sure. As it'd be pre-NF anyway, I'm not sure it's all that important either way for the purposes of this thread.

EDIT - Here's a shot of an item tag with both a "9" and a "6" The req. 6 on that purple sword looks more to me like a flipped 9 than a 6.

On an different subject, here's a pic of something that dropped for a teammate (who left it on the ground until it timed out and I picked it up) during NM Mallyx fight the other day.

r7 Scythe 9-37 dmg.
