Wow Awesome staff! Also, theorically from that staff we could think r8 max staffs could drop maybe. as yangmonth explained before. but not sure

I've never said such a staff wouldn't be possible and in fact I've expected something similar to finally appear. And it's an awesome staff indeed, extremelly rare and 99.999% sure it's the best possible (knowing how drop generation works can't absolutely deny the possibility of a q8 20/10/11-22 but if it's possible it'd be a whole new magnitude of rarity higher than this staff)

Another thing, I remember (kept a note of) seeing someone spam a WTS Q8 18/10/11-22 inscribable gold staff in Kamadan but I totally regret not asking him to show it quickly (it was long before this thread existed and my own research was in very early stage then). But since it was just a wts spam it's not worthy of note anywhere unless someone else has seen (screenshotted) that staff or has it.

This dropped in DoA NM btw, my guess is that that's the best place to go look for q8 max weaps, a lot of q7/15 shields drop there aswell, as q8/16's..
Too bad I only do DoASC HM nowadays, since NM isn't profitable in any way :P Takes too long, and too little gems :P

Despite being such a rarity I doubt it could have real market value, simply because very very few players realise how rare it is (most would probably say they merch nonmax crap like that all the time) and even fewer would be willing to buy it for a collection (unless inspired by this thread). But even 2 players interested in having it could roll an epic bid war on it

Oh and it's a common misconception that DoA NM is any better than DoA HM for low req drops. In fact there's NO difference there for the q7/15 or q8/16 shields and for a staff like this you would have even better chance in HM! I can guarantee that, and I haven't even played DoA NM or HM a lot.

Orly? Well, I only run with my guild, which is DoASC messpike, HM, but I always keep an eye open for q8/16s or q7/15s, have seen a couple drop, but most were str, so useless.. Since I do it a LOT, I will try to keep track of it in some way, and if I find something else interesting, I'll post it here as soon as possible. Also, a lot of q8/+12 foci drop, and a lot more than compared to the shields.. Still waiting for a goldie drop though, all are blues, no purples either, exept for this staff..

Gold and Purple req.8 drops are impossible in DoA, both NM and HM, with the only exception being purple staves - because of a different item_level parameters in the drop generation system they work a bit differently than other items and they're a possible drop in both NM and HM DoA. Just keep in mind you will find a couple 16/8 (blue) shields easier than any purple req.8 staff there, no matter the stats of the staff (on average it will be a 18/10/10-20 or close)

Red, the pictures you upload are getting compressed somehow. In the past, they've been hard to see, but this most recent one I can't make out details at all.

Cropping the images to just the info tags is fine, but please upload full-res cropped shots so we can see what's there. English is great if possible; if not, translate it to English for us in your post, please?

Hmm, does his picture look normal size to everyone else? I did not consider if it might be a problem on my end because I only ever have trouble with the pics Red posts. Others' pics seem to look full/normal size resolution, but Red's always seem a bit shrunk. And that latest one is so squished that I don't even trust I'm reading it right if I squint.

Anyway, thank you for the better eyes! I would like to get this sorted out with Red's pics for future reports at least.

Red's pics do seem a little small but a little bit of focus and they aren't to hard to make out...for me at least maybe we both be using the same browser? and it's an issue with that?
