Found this req5 wand. I know they exist higher than 9-14 but this one got a maxed inherent.

EDITED entire post after cleaning out my SS folder ... and then again after taking lots of recent shots ...

Most of this dropped in NM Glint's Challenge in Oct. 2010. The oldest drop pictured is from June 2010. So these are all "recent" drops.

I took the following shots of things that dropped on Oct. 18 while cruising about NM Crystal Desert maps and missions. So they're all recent and inherent examples. They're probably not max. possible, but they're pictures to use until we get better!

wand r8 10-20

... and then I noticed this when sorting through a mule's inventory. I don't remember when/where/how I got it, but it's obviously postnerf since it's a spear with an insc. slot.

Got this at Vizunah Square NM today. Actually just white crap, but pretty close to max for a req7 Staff. You can need screens like that?

E: Now that I think of it I'm quite sure I also once had a white req8 11-21 bo-staff droping at Halcyon Job. Merch'ed it though. Same will happen to that whitey staffy boy

So much new stuff here I won't be able to comment on all right now.
I haven't been playing much in the last months so no new stuff, but will still check this thread and update my personal data for research from the reliable screenshots.

@LicensedLuny - thanks for getting all the info together. But one thing I don't see a point of is separation of inherent and inscribable sources - the only thing that matters is whether the item is confirmed to have dropped after the nerf or it may be coming from before it.

You have missed my Q7 staff from first page - 16/10/11-20
I found my screenshot of it:

It was pretty shocking but it dropped from a HM Locked chest (I couldn't believe then but now I know exactly why it was possible)

Luny's got me confused. I was under the impression that swords, axes, hammers, bows and daggers were still available (though rare) as q8 max drops. There certainly seems to be quite a few of them around.

So, assuming I was mistaken, what items are still available as max req8's? Just swords, shields, and focii?

I think it's safe to say you have the record for most reports by far. So any and all screenshot examples you can show us are awesome! Ok, a couple reasons for that ...
1) I wasn't sure if it's confirmed, agreed, understood by majority, etc. that new insc. and new inherent sources are guaranteed to have the same base max possible stats. If that's the case, I'm fine with it! It's simply not one of the things I know for sure (like the way I know for sure 15-22 insc. swords are possible even though we have no screenshot on this thread.)
2) I've had a little bit of experience building summary tables like the one I put together up there. I find it's much easier in the long run to build them from scratch with more info/options than less. Going back and editing things out of the lists is a lot easier than going back and editing things in.

Oops, sorry! Thanks for catching the omission and letting me know. I'll update list with that pic!

EDIT ... Ok, I still don't see it on the first page, but no worries since we have it here now. I went to put it on the list, but I can't tell if it's insc. or inh. source drop??? Until we all agree or confirm or whatever that there's no difference, I don't know which r7 staff line to list that on!

Imo, screenshots are way better than claims! There's no need if we already have shots of an item with the same or better stats. I can't update the OP myself, but check this post where I'm keeping an updated list. Ideally, we'll get ss proof of everything listed on the table eventually.

You mention things dropping ">1 yr ago" So, they dropped before or after the initial release of Nightfall??? That's the cutoff we use for pre vs. postnerf drops.

GOOD QUESTION! I'd like to know, too! I thought they were all still theoretically possible as max r8 drops from inherent source areas, and only swords, shields and foci were possible as max r8 from inscribable source areas.

wtb Yawgmoth's explanation! I'd even link it in my "useful info" thread that died somewhere in this ventari's discussion section when it first opened.

And for Sofar there hasnt been rly confirmed drops.. .. So guess they wont drop until theyre confirmed. Ive been personally trying like mad find some gold/purple canthan sword/Shield with no succees, Found Only dozens and dozens offhands. and white shields.

For the req8s: only Swords, Shields and Offhands seem to drop anymore since Nightfall release. I roughly understand why, but I know that Yawg can explain this way better than me
