Hey again,
Thanks to this thread I wanted to start collecting. So I did, I acquired over 20 shields with the +1 attribute and +xxhp mod combo. I never knew why these shields attract me so much, but they just do.
I came across some real nice ones allready, but about a week and a half ago Xander posted an update on his collection. In those screens, I saw a shield that made my heart skip a beat. I knew I had to have it, but how. First idea was to add him to my friendslist ingame, so when he came online I could contact him. Then a little later, someone pm'ed me. I didn't know who it was (I didn't check my fl), but he asked what I would offer for an Exalted Aegis req 8 tac with +1 Healing Prayers (Chance 19%) and +30hp. Then it hit me, it was Xander.
I was shocked to get offered this amazing shield (and I'm not going to lie: under the influence of the drug the Netherlands are famous for). So weirdly enough I low-balled him. Ofcourse he declined my offer. I hated myself for that stupid mistake, now he might never want to sell it to me. I still asked what his price was, he told me what he'd sell it for luckily, I saw that as a ray of hope. I might not have screwed up completely.
I was some ecto short of his price. So I told him I would borrow the remaining amount from friends. Then he made my heart fall to my stomach. He wasn't sure if he wanted to sell it. I got so freaking nervous. He said he'd pm me the next day on guru. So ofcourse I hardly slept and checked guru every 15 minutes. A few days past and still no message, but I didn't want to pressure him or do anything else which could harm my chances on acquiring the shield. So I kept my mouth shut, until I couldn't take it anymore and messaged him on Guild Wars. He told me he allready made a choice and he posted it on my buy thread..... Which I had payed zero attention to, since I was so occupied with this deal. On the thread he had posted (one day later as he promised me): It's yours, pm me ingame..............
I jumped through the roof. I couldn't believe it. Ofcourse I made sure to make the trade happen a.s.a.p. So then, all of a sudden, I owned one of the most awesome shields (in my opinion) I had ever seen. I knew I was going to use this shield on my monk, so I had to get a weapon what would fit with the exalted skin, a combo I always had problems with. With an uninscr. Crystalline Sword +5e out of the picture, Xander turned my attention to the Gemstone Axe. Which turned out to be an amazing fit. Ofcourse I couldn't use the mere q13 one I had allready, it had to be req8 or maybe req 9. Xander pointed out to me that Aris had a req 8 +5e one in his thread.
So today, not much more then one hour ago. I acquired the final piece in my new set for my favorite character: my monk, Emma Of Love. Ofcourse I needed the extra 20% damage. So I went to the weaponsmith immediatly and payed him 10 gold to make this axe truly my own.
I know it isn't as great as some of the stuff posted here, but to me, it beats everything. Thanks again everyone for inspiring me and a special thanks to Gentleman Xander. I will post the rest of my +1 attribute shields later.
~Emma
P.S. Emma of Love was first called Emma W S, so that's why it says: Customized for Emma W S.

Hey everyone,
So as promised my +1 Attribute/xx% with +xx/hp or +xxhp^ench shields collection + my low lever characters with cool armors, just for the fun of it .
Thanks Xander for my pride and joy: the req 8 healing exalted
Thanks EK for giving me the only other req 8 in my collection and a few others shields you gave me.
Thanks Buzan for selling me my first req 9 one off. The protection GotH. I believe you later gave me some others too.
Thanks Shadowfell for selling me the only perfect shield in my possession.
Thanks everyone else who sold me these amazing type of shields.
I will keep collecting since I still miss a lot of attributes and you can never have enough attribute shields imo.
However I need money to keep collecting so how about you all go check out my sale thread and buy some of my stuff.
I'd love to hear what your favorites are within my collection.
~Emma

Looks good Emma,
Been a while since iv seen a decent group of attri shields, especially the GoTH and Plague are so close to be a "million dollar" shield.
Had myself some, but exchanged that collection for my current one.
Looking forward on what perfects you will pursue and/or aqcuire.
Zeph.
Edit : sold not long ago a shield set of +1/20 Heal, Divine, Protection & Smiting with -2^ench in req 9, to an anonymous buyer for a 4 digit number.
Morale of the edit, they would have been a perfect addition for your collection if I knew you were after those : /.

I saw you selling them and I was interested. Unfortunately at the time I didn't have the funds to even think of an offer. It's a missed opportunity, but missing out on yours saved me the ecto I used to buy Xander's Exalted. So not too sad I couldn't add them to my collection.
