I am posting this in an attempt to get help & support from the Guru community (well, what's left of you anyways ) in trying to locate any dual reduction Q9 Magmas Shield. I would dearly love to finish this collection, and would pay very well for the missing shield.

I regretably sold a maggy -2 en -2 st Q9 after owning it for a year about 4 years ago, no idea who to but it was in droknars forge, kinda useless information really but gives you hope there's at least one other out there.

I know this Ram collection looks complete..... but it isn't. And only one person can make it whole. Kabong, you're out there somewhere! Someday, somehow, you'll turn that 12 into an 8. I'll be waiting with all the ectos you need

Kromp and Kabong are done with this game.
Sadness.
Although I doubt any number of ectoes would make him part with his hammer(s).
Guys an addict, I swear.

Doesn't matter. Kabong doesn't sell stuff he likes or thinks others want. He just doesn't do it. Point of contention for him I think. To have the best of the best and be the only one.

Oh, I know.
I'm just curious if Kromp has been online, because Kromp is a friend of mine (more so than Kabong) and I want to talk to him.

I was referring to seeing Kromp online. I was busy & set to "DnD" at the time & when I was done he was no-longer online. Max has spoken of seeing Kromp online at times too. Can't blame him, if I had a massive collection of OS collectables & I retired from the game, after a while I would still want to jump online & swim in my money bin...err I mean look through my stash, if not just for old time sakes.

Strange thing to say. I believe the collection you're commenting on was largely (if not entirely) purchased from Kabong. Kiki's post is prima facie evidence that what you're saying simply isn't true. If, for example, Kabong wanted to be the only one with a 15^50 swamp club, he would be.
As for me, I've logged on a couple of times recently, just to run my hands over some of my old toys. They're still fun to look at, especially the items that recall days in Tyria that are (sadly) long gone.

Considering my personal history with him I'd have to disagree with you. On several occasions I have tried to purchase hammers off of him, namely when I had a reasonable collection of q8's. I was offering more than reasonable amounts, in some cases more than what they normally went for and he refused on all cases. tetsubo's and clouded mauls to be exact. And at the time they were 500-750e and I was offering over 1000e each. So, I respectfully disagree with you on this one Kromp. I was either black balled along with a few others, or Kabong didn't sell the highend stuff (at the very least, i'd say didn't sell them that often)
Just my personal experience, it was not good. Perhaps I just wasn't worthy of them. -_- If that's the case, then...

Well, I didn't come by to get into an argument or to defend Kabong from nebulous charges of not selling the things he likes. After all, who makes a habit of selling the things they like when they don't need the money? Do you actually know anyone who DOES do this (in GW or in real life)? It sounds like you're still unhappy about a deal that you couldn't make work once upon a time. Sorry to hear about that.
Nice seeing you, Guild Wars.

Yes, that's exactly what I was referring to.
Nice to see you active here in Guru too Mr Kromp, as it's personalities like yours & Kabong's that are sadly missed. /respect
Now, on topic....
Here is a small "side project" that I have been working on.
Thanks Flint

I'm relatively new to all this, so I hope what I have to say is taken the right way... I mean no offense.
There are traders, and then there are collectors. Kabong (and Kromp too) is a collector. Meaning he gathers the items he wants, and keeps them. In fact I'd say those two are the finest collectors the game has ever seen. He doesn't need to sell his items, nor does he want to.
I've tried a few times to get my hands on Kromp's r8-2-2 eternal, but he won't sell it, and I respect that. It's his prerogative
If I collected stacks of wood and didn't want to sell them, you could offer several million armbraces, but if I'm determined not to sell then you're not gonna get them.
Traders are in it for pure profit, but it's the collectors who get the respect.
Oh, nice work again, EK on the falchions. I wondered why you wanted mine so bad
Max

Nice to see you too, Kromp!
I'm in Europe right now so I probably wont ever be online when you are, but hopefully I'll bump into you in game some time soon.
Cheers,
Yuko
