Ok, I've thought of several ways to handle my giveaway and I've started writing this thread at least a dozen times before discarding the ideas as unworkable.

Maybe this idea is unworkable as well. Who knows. Anyways, it's my stuff and I guess I should be able to give it away however I see fit. Personally, I love contests, so I'll hold a mini contest.

I have 4 items here to giveaway. If this works well, I'll do it again with more stuff. I dislike the idea of giving them to the first person to reply here, so I'll instead make you work a bit for them. At least that way the winner is someone who really wanted the item.

I'll be online tonight from 8-8:30pm EST on my mule, War Talon. War Talon will be standing in International District 1 in a particular area during that time. (I hope to be online by 8pm. Real life may intervene) The first person to find me and open trade can have their pick of the items. I'll stay in that location until the items are gone or until 8:30pm, whichever comes first.

I'll try to update this thread as the items are taken. Please do not keep looking for me after 8:30pm. I will log off of War Talon at that time and be playing the game with my regular characters.

And a "nice try" Gingerbread Shield was awarded to Spartacus Lynnier who found me only 10 seconds after Rageous did.

So, where am I? Hint: I will not be in Lion's Arch, Kaineng Center or Kamadan, but otherwise the location is someplace that even a new player can reach.

For all those who tried and couldn't find me, I was hiding in the Random Arenas. I picked it because it's central to all campaigns in order to give those with just 1 game a shot at it.

The items were claimed quickly and the mini event was a success, although it was very suspicious that 2 of my winners were in the same guild. Hmm, I think someone had help finding me.

Ok, to clarify. The hint is just that a hint. I won't add any more because I don't want it to be a total giveaway. Basically I mean that I won't be set up someplace like Ember Light Camp that would be inaccessible to newbies. That was the one thing that irked me about A-Net's Halloween and Wintersday festivals. Last October I was just starting the game and nowhere near LA yet. By Christmas I had reached LA, but one of the quests required you to go to Drok's which I still hadn't come close to. I was sad that I missed out on a lot of the festivities.

Grimlii and Naejev, did you read my post or just skip ahead to the "what's for grabs" section? You have to find me during the designated time. Good Luck on the hunt!
