Free chestrunning, free mission help
I'm offering free chestrunning.
Since I'm new to the whole chestrunning thing, I'm going to start out with Shiverpeaks and Darkstone keys only to get my feet wet.
You supply the keys/lockpicks, I'll run the chests for you. Be advised I am just starting out so my lockpick chances are only the base chance at the moment - keys would be the better choice.
All items will be returned unidentified, unless you want me to identify them for you, which I'd be more than happy to do.
IGN: Selina Jadeheart, post here first before PM'ing me in game, please. I'm usually online 10pm-12pm PDT (UTC-7, so 5am-7am UTC).
I'm also available to help out with most missions in Prophecies, or to help someone get through an area (not running though). This is when I do not have other things happening like chest running, just PM me in game.

Yeah, not to mention the fact that, why would anyone give you items to ID for them?
No offense, but it sounds kind of bogus. Even if you're on the level, there are plenty of people who would simply take the keys or the items and keep them.

Because they don't want the (albeit small) cost of ID'ing themselves? Who knows, I was just throwing that in there. I'm happy to give people their items back unID'ed. I didn't realize people actually payed to ID stuff, so I guess I'll remove that part of it.
Also, if I was just going to keep the items, that wouldn't be a very good service, would it? The first person I did that to would come on here, tell people I did that, and that would be that. You don't have to give me a bunch of keys if you don't trust me to give stuff back. I'm happy to build trust if that's what it takes, so just start with a key or two if you want.
I can't really convince you to trust me myself, only through what I do in game. Assuring you I'm on the level and trustworthy doesn't mean much until you actually do.

Yes, but after being in the online gaming world for about 10 years now, I find it hard to believe that everyone who says they are trustworthy actually are, especially having played mmorpgs for about 7 years.. any way to scam you that is possible, people will find.
Whats to stop you from finding a really great item with one of their keys, like say an elemental or dead sword, and then replacing it with an unided gold of much lesser value?
I guess what I'm trying to say is simply that people should watch out for people like yourself. While I'm sure that you, yourself, are relatively honest, many other people will claim to be, while not actually being, honest and trustworthy.
The easiest way to avoid being scammed is to not trust anyone. Maybe that sounds a little jaded, but its also prevented me from being scammed for years, and whenever I hear someone complaining that they have been scammed, it inevitably happened because they trusted a complete stranger.
Heck, I've known guildmates who had old friends screw them over.
Again, its nothing against you personally, I'm sure you're a very nice person.

No, I don't take it personally. It's fairly good advice, actually. If I were in your shoes I'd probably be skeptical too.
There are a few things I can think of that guarantee getting the items back, but you are correct in that I have no way of proving that what came out of the chest was what I gave them (short of the person coming with me, which I am happy to do but then why would they need me to open the chests for them anyway?). It would be nice if I could show my inventory (sort of like showing empty pockets) but as far as I know there is no in game way to do that. Would be a nice feature add for just this reason. Although even then that doesn't prevent someone from zoning and visiting storage... maybe an "observe" feature for PvE?
The only other thing I can think of is to take a screenshot before picking the item up, and even that isn't a complete guarantee as it's possible the "lesser" item would have the same skin/look. Of course, the screenshot could always be modified for timestamp and such, but that seems somewhat extreme just to scam people for play money in an online game.
Anyway, for whatever it is worth I AM on the level. If one or two people give me a chance, I can prove it to them, and hopefully they can vouch for me here. Heh, maybe that should be a free service to offer - trying out other services and vouching for them or not.
The only other thing I can say is, "I swear on the soul of my father, Domingo Montoya, you will reach the top alive.... er, I am not trying to scam you."

Like you yourself said you are new to chestrunning, thing is, people like myself buy keys and unlock chests for the title not the items, 29-30 the items you get are junk, especially the keys you are talking about, shiverpeak chests are terrible, maybe 1 in 30 is a gold and even then its junk. Your offer is kind indeed but alas its highly unlikely you will get many takers on it. Sounds like a good way to get yer title though if thats what yer after. I'd be more than willing to do it too and i can run any chests that anyone wants to buy keys for, the title is worth more than the items, like you ID title gives you a better chance of salvaging items without destroying them, thats why people pay 1k for junk golds.

actually there are a lot of chest runners...if you go to the normal section for services you will see this is true. @OP best thing to do is build up a group of clients and have them post etc....one thing you need to keep in mind is to be quick as possible...no one likes to wait for a day or 2 to get thier items. Also you should try to learn the run thru ice flow or whatever it is outside of grotto with all the mursat...then peeps have a chance at getting mursaat items...bow...hammer...
I will have you run 7 keys if you want to... PM me IGN Coridan A
