First of all, I'm a she, not a he. Second of all, if you don't approve of what I have to offer, simply don't use it. It's not that hard.
And yes, for the - I believe - 4th time, I am completely serious.

Okay, so playing a game means I'm trying to get away from real life? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT REAL-LIFE PROBLEMS. EX1.
I play GuildWars.
I am having Family Issues
I talk to Nkah through GUILDWARS.
I repeat: THE GAME IS A MEDIUM. THE GAME HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

I don't see why so many of you turn this down so badly... She's offering you an ear to listen to your problems... No charge or anything... People are rare like that you all should be thankfull there even is a person like her to offer this open in public :s
And yes sometimes it's alot easyer to tell a stranger your problem, because that way the person won't judge you that easely... they don't know you...
As not many approve this... I do, why? It has proven usefull to many who just cannot tell their irl friends in there face because they are ashamed or don't have to courage to shout for a helping hand...
Think about this, sometimes you get pissed off really bad because of all those irritating little things, Sometimes talking to a guildy or an online friend you've met can actually ( most of the time ) calm you down.
And it's only a service she's offering! Nobody is forcing you to use it if you don't like it/want it.
Thank you for reading this and have a good day( or night )!
Greetings, Akela

it's a good thing that there are still people who care about others' peoples health and wellbeing. no one should criticize the goodness of a human. ofcourse there are people who need this service the brother of a friend of mine was crying his ass of when all his chars where deleted. he got a desease that makes it hard for him to make friends so guildwars is pretty much everything for him. Nkah you're a pioneer in the guildwars chat :P
good luck and have a lot of fun every1!!!
cya around on gw^^

I don't see the difference between using a help-phoneline or an online game or chatroom in talking to someone theraputically. as Ni said, it's only a medium - it doesn't matter how it's done. And, taking on a moderator status here - if you don't like it, ignore it. Don't post.

Yeah I wouldn't play this game anymore if I didn't have some nice friends on GW.
And Nkah Sennyt, I really appreciate your service, a lot of people actually have small problems in real life they don't want to talk about it with real life friends, including me. I hope services like this can help them. I may be using this service in the future. People shouldn't be ashamed by using this service, who doesn't have problems ?

Alright, I'm going to say this once. There is to be absolutely nothing else that does not directly deal with the service from this point on. If you don't think the service is a good idea, good for you. No one cares. Don't post. If there's any more "lololol dis service r dum" I'll rain holy hell on you, k? Jesus.

Exactly what Trakata said, if you guys dislike the idea, don't post.
Alot of people on these forums have alot of personal issues, and Guild Wars can be their escape. ( I'm assuming).

I know I use GW as a way to vent RL frustrations/issues/problems. Most of the goodies I've done on farming runs have come from these times.
I sure could have used a good soundboard a few weeks ago when I was dealing with Guild issues, and while some of them are still going on, it's getting better every day.
I'll keep you in the FL, Nkah.

I have a problem I cant decide whether to pursue my goal of getting FoW armor or just give up. I have been playing for 24 months now and have never gone past 500k and just cannot seem to get over it. I promised my self that I would get the armor this summer, but farming is just so boring. I always see a good deal but it always goes horribly wrong when trying to buy and sell. For instance, a few weeks ago I see a Mini Bone Dragon for 100k, now I am thinking CHEAP HOT DEAL, however it turns out nobody wants these but collectors and i am forced to resell it for 90k after several days of spamming. I also give myself little challenges for instance, If i get an Icy Dragon Sword on this run I will continue to go for fow armor, if not I just blow my money on some 15k armor which I will feel good about for a week or so then feel stupid for wasting that money. For some reason all this little things come true, I actually did get an Icy Dragon Sword that run. Now, that I think back if I would of just saved my money (spent 400K to buy a CS account which I never use, spent 225k x2 on 15k Kurzick + Luxon armor for warrior, Spent 150K getting 15k tatoos + black dyes, or even customized my req 8 15/-5 zodiac bow 20/20 +30hp DOH >< it was like 2 weeks after factions came out too.) I could have had several sets of fow armor. I see great builds on these forums for Dervish and Assasin such as farming the old Tombs of the Primeval Kings so I spend money and time making a dervish and when hes 20 i decide to buy him 1.5k armor which turns out i spent almost 50k just to buy all the runes and insignias and materials!. I farm the ToPK for like an hour and get bored and only made back 5k... So, to sum it all up Summer is half over and I am only at about 90k + 58 ectos +2 shards right now. I need some inspiration to get that FoW armor but all my inspiration fades when i go into kamadan d1 and see tons of afk warriors wearing FoW armor and its not so unique anymore. I want to get something that shows I put A lot of time into this game, which I have nearly 2000 hours.
Woo... I got that off my chest, yes it was quite a long read and I could of gone on about more of my failures. Hopefully it will make someone happy and show that they are not the biggest loser on guildwars.

I think its a great idea. There are some people out there who are struggling with no one to talk to. To see that someone cares about them, especially someone who doesnt know them, could be the thing that pulls them from the abyss. Even if it doesnt help on that scale, its still good for some people to know the world isnt completely uncaring.
Besides that, talking to someone you dont know and probably will never talk to again could be more helpful than talking to someone you know if its a problem that could reflect back on you negatively with the people around you. It puts it in a completely objective context rather than subjective. I had someone I never knew confide in my about something personal online because she was embarrassed to tell her friends or family.
Anyway, great, great service. Has the potential to do a lot of good.
And to those who are criticizing it: if you dont like it, dont use it. Dont ridicule someone trying to reach out to people who need help.

lmao that was hilarious to me. I almost feel tempted to make a ser-... no, even as a joke, I belive that's a bannable offense. Too bad, woulda been funny. Funny enough that you said it. Anyway... I too think this is a good idea, and if you yourself need someone to talk to I'm available to talk to 95% of the time I'm on guild wars. =)
