Sooooo....

After 2 and a half years I feel that my time with Guild Wars is about to come to an end, and instead of letting all my great items rot in my storage on my unused account, I will give them away, a huge giveaway event and to celebrate my last hours in the fantastic world of gw

(at least for now)

This Sunday (16th December), at 9 p.m. (21:00) in Zaishen Challenge outpost, Russian district 1 (because there are not many people there :P)

The time is 21:00, Coordinated Universal Time, UTC / GMT
An example on the GMT time compared to US time below the picture, you can also check wikipedia for information of timezones in you country (I think), I may have done som minor mistakes in my timezone calculations, but I don't think so, however, please correct me if you know I'm wrong

List of items is here now (If you are expecting to get a perfect Crystalline Sword, a Tormented Weapon or enough ectos for a fow armor, leave this thread immediately) :

- golds, purples and other weapons (+ event weapons) + weapon upgrades :P, about 30 in total
- 11 green weapons/focuses
- about 30 runes
- many obsidian shards and some other rare items
- many salvage kits/expert salvage kits/id kits, insignias and bags and belt pouches
- Festival items and other fun stuff (about 110 in total)
- lot's of cash

I was able to fill up my entire storage ( not including the crafting materials) and all my bags on the character I'm using, + the cash.

I will not give away all the "good stuff" to one person, so if you are there, you will almost for sure get something nice.

If I'm not wrong, 21:00 (9:00 p.m.) GMT makes 16:00 (4:00 p.m.) on the East cost of the US and 13:00 (1:00 p.m.) on the West coast of the US.

In other words, if you're living in the US you will have to be there on 13:00-16:00 (1-4 p.m.)

That can't be too bad?

Ok, so this time zone chart makes no sense to me...I'm on the east coast in North America, so what time would that correspond to? Thanks to whoever figures that one out.

Yea, can't you change your location to international districts, I know its a lot to ask since you are genuinely being nice and giving nice things away, but i don't think a lot of us can change our district locations, i only have America.

Also anyone one time for Eastern North American Time?

Ok to clear this up on 2 things for you all - You CAN switch to other Districts, including Russian etc... just click on More Options on the change district menu. Also, for those of you who slept through most of your school - GMT is 5 hrs ahead of American Eastern Time Zone - therefore 21:00 GMT = 02:00 on the Eastern seaboard of America. (thats 2am in NY and 5am in LA) Hope that makes sense.

Good thing you said that, yes, you are able to switch to European districts, even if you're from America, at least I can go to America whenever I want to. If the Russian district is causing a lot of problems, I can change it, but let me know then.

yes 12:00 p.m GMT. is 4:00 a.m (04:00) , (night/morning), but guys, remember, it's not at 12 a.m. (12:00)GMT but 9:00 p.m. (21:00) GMT :P

as far as I can see, it's the opposite with US time compared to GMT, on the map you can see, 12.00 a.m. GMT makes the time 6.00 a.m. somewhere in the middle of the US. For me, this event will be at the evening (I'm from Norway) and you guys in Amercia will have it at the middle of the day and in Asia it will be in the middle of the night

Again, correct me if I'm wrong, if so, I have confused me and some of you guys pretty much and someone should slap me:P
