T'was a snowy, cold and depressing 15th of January 2007. I had just installed Guild Wars Prophecies and Factions (remains of a special Xmas sale

) and I was sick as hell. So the character came out all wrong. I wanted him to be a dark-haired black guy, but he turned out to be a pale-looking prick. Named Vlad of the Masons, he chose the fiery road of the Elementalist. Eventually, as a hobby, he began to tamper into the misty arts of the Mesmers, although for some time now he has partially shaved his head and decided to release Monk-ish potential. But he still prefers the pyro's way...
But back to his early beginnings... He started out in good ol' Ascalon, picking flowers and helping Gwen find her flute. After witnessing the destruction of the plains where he had grown up, he dedicated his life to helping his fellow man and to snogging his fellow woman. After a noobish start, with death being extremely common, he discovered that missions were far easier when done with a human party. So through the Shiverpeaks, where Prince Rurik bravely lost his life, he arrived in Kryta, where the Undead gave him some hard times. After departing for the Crystal Desert, he managed to Ascend and then returned to the Shiverpeaks, to aid the Dwarves in their final struggle. Departing for the Ring of Fire, the valiant Ele managed to thwart the Undead Lich and *drums* save Tyria.
After this, Vlad joined the RoCA guild, which has vanished inexplicably over time. With his fellow guildmen's help, he traveled to Cantha, joined the Luxons, united them temporarily with the Kurzicks and defeated Shiro Tagachi in a legendary struggle.
Following this, I bought Nightfall and guided this fiery tempered kid through Istan, Kourma, Vabbi then finally into the Abyss, where we got totally pwned by Abbadon's minions. With a little help from some veterans and a couple of warriors, we managed to put Abbadon where he belonged... THE VOID...
GWEN followed suite, of course. Same thing: Became the ultimate champion, pwned the Great Destroyer, blah blah blah. Currently,Vlad is desperately trying to impress the Norns and the Ebon Vanguard. He has met an Ebon Assassin who follows him anywhere he wishes. He has no choice... He resides in his build(Muahahahaha). Also, recently, he was accepted into the Penguins With Hand Grenades Guild and couldn't possibly be more content with who he is. Currently, he's also thinking about getting a proper build and go farming. But that's another story...

Well, my first character was a very unfortunate male ranger called Haden Noxious. Later on, I began to name my PvP characters Noxious/Nox, and that's the name I came to be know by by my friends.

Anyways, I created my ranger about 2 months after the game came out. I had heard the game was free and had never dabbled in MMO's, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was instantly hooked. I made it out of Pre-Searing after..WAY too long. Took my sweet time. I thought the game was fun but I wanted to prepare for the next level. Collected around 2K thinking I was set...then realized how much time I wasted since 2K was really nothing

Nonetheless, I was mesmerized at how fast the game was. I met a guy, who's name I can't remember who taught me the basics of the game - he was a huge help to me. As I played, made friends etc I got more and more hooked. I think my fondest memory of that ranger was my awesome Ignite Arrow/Dual Shot bar...with Firestorm...you have no idea how excited I was to find Meteor Shower later on in the game.

To cut this ramble short, I started hating the ranger..especially after my warrior and necro (who is now my title character, and deleted him for reasons I do not remember. He never even made it to Factions, but he definately helped me discover the basics of GW. R.I.P

My first character would be my warrior. i just love something about the warrior hes seems to be brave and cunning. My first warrior is still the warrior i play today. His name is warrior of delo and ive beaten all campains with him and done anything worth doing on him. I feel he is a part of me and i will always love playing him. As many peoples, i choose warrior for my first character. I made her when i buyed prophecies + factions. As many ppls i was thinking Warrior with mending and healing breeze is really cool, and i can kill anything in whole game. Now i know what an noob I was

Ofcourse this character is still on my account, because im too sentimental to delete her. She's called Al Yazir Imah Fathi, and she got elite gladiator armor, wichout headpiece coz, when i was buying this set it was unable to buy helmet.Ofcourse colour of armor is unable to get today... Simply combination yellow + green, but today you cannot afford same hue... I finish those two campagains with my sweetie but, after that my monk was born, and many other chars which i delete. Among those deleted chars was ritualist survivor r2 (not farmed - really), farmed dervish survivor r3 and paragon, many deleted chars but this Warrior is my first and oldest char on account and i never delete her. Now im playing on ranger and new ritualist and i know muuuuuch more about game, but if you choose me as winner im sure my sweet Al Yazir can raise up from ashes and can fight with most dangerous monsters in GW for glory and honour

My first character was a Ranger by the name of Mistress Smiley, now how I got that name is pretty simple. About 2 months after Guild Wars came out we got the game, now back then Chaos Comics was still around and I was a big fain is Smiley the Psychotic Button. Being a male I figure the best think for me to do is make a female character, so I did that with the name Mistress Smiley, the name Smiley come from The button. Since the game was very new and I didn’t play beta I figured the ranger was the easiest character to play with. I spent a long time in Pre at level 12 and didn’t know that their was even something called Post. Boy was I wrong so after that I went to post and started working on getting through the game with this character, I had friends who I found out later who had played beta and that made the game worth playing even more. Then told me that I need to get newer armor, didn’t even tell me about 15k armor and that I need to get to level 20 and that type of such. I still have this character even today, you can see me on her at the Jade Quarry. She is my first and original character.

so......my first character. That would have to be "The Melkor" a Me/N that I made and got all the way to LA with before abandoning for the next year and a half to play with my ele and warrior and all the rest. After about a year and a half, while doing some AB, I got worked over by a Mesmer while playing my Warrior and decided that maybe I should do some PvP with mine, so I played about 20 or so rounds before realizing that because I never took him past LA I was missing about 30 points of attributes lol (I laughed so hard I blew soda out my nose

). So onward I played till I got the rest of my points and discovered that Mesmers really do kick serious @$$. Well thats the tale of my first GW character whom I still play today.

To any who are reading this Happy New Year, and please don't mock me if we run into each other......

Also Thank You Spellbreaker Frazzy for doing this (even if I don't win). It's good to see players who still do nice things for people.

My first character was a mesmer since i read that they used illusions and i thought that was pretty cool. At the time i had no idea what a mesmer did except that they were people who use illusions. Since she had something to do with illusions i decided to name her Alusia Mindspinner. I really liked that name and i hoped that other people would think that my name suited my class and was cool too lol

. During presearing I thought my character was the best! Degeneration quickly killed enemies and being a me/e meant that i could use illusions and fire! It took me awhile to get out of presearing >.> (like almost a week since i really didnt know what i was supposed to do). After i got out of presearing i started to notice that Alusia wasnt killing as fast as she did before(because my attributes were spread out so much

). I eventually got enough money for the 15AL armor at ascalon (i had no idea that there were two different armor traders, i thought they sold the same except that one was cheaper lol). After getting into kryta i noticed that i needed to get new armor since my old armor looked ugly so i made my own little farming build to farm the mergoyles outside of LA

. Eventually i managed to get a free droks run (someone was offering a free run ^^) and i had to farm up even more to get decent droks armor which took me forever! After getting enchanters armor i eventually made it to Augury Rock, i started to notice that people really didnt invite me to their groups and kept saying it was because i was a mesmer. I didnt know what the problem was. I remember watching ha and gvg back then and noticed that not alot of mesmers were using illusion skills and when i saw mesmers that did i would get excited at the fact that we both used conjure phantasm

. Since i didnt have enough money to get new skills and no character slots open (my bros used to play back then) i decided to delete her. But after awhile i noticed that none of the characters like Alusia, it was fun nuking as an ele and healing as a monk but not as fun as playing alusia. So after about a month i remade her and now she is my most played character

My first character is my elementalist, and I've had her for 36 months. She is my main and is the one who is spoilt the most!

I started playing Guild Wars in it's very early beta, and the game was so refreshing, and I fondly remember Ascalon as being this wonderful fairytale landscape that I'd never seen in a game before. I was over the moon to be in the beta, and I instantly fell in love with the music (especially the old log-in screen) and I still wish it could return.

So there I was, in the beta as an ele and I really enjoyed the class, more than any other. They have the nicest armour sets, facial models and animations. After the beta ended I bought the game a few months after release, and created my ele to which I play to this very day. She's been to every continent in the Guild Wars realm, been to every dungeon, seen every fun filled event and is still discovering new places.

I have fond memories or running into combat and being squished having realised the fragility of my chosen profession. I've dabbled with all the elements but always come back to fire. The good old days of mixing dyes, farming in the desert and generally having fun. My first 15k set was the result of a Crystalline sword I got one day, and when it sold for 185.5k I was gobsmacked as it was more money than I'd ever had, back when I'd only been playing for a few months. I bought an elite set and dyed it the original black, and it remains that elusive colour today, and I'll never change it. Over the past two years she has been rewarded with many other lovely things, all earned through hard work, good friends and a little bit of luck.

Well. my very first characters name was Izodn Ashwood. and he was a hammer warrior, now, i say 'was' because i deleted him, long before anyone knew there were birthday presents, so my first present, took place 3 months after everyone else's, when all the prices died down. Izodn, never got out of pre, I just found it so cool so... green, lol. anyway, i deleted him, now my oldest character is a 32 month old monk. nothing big, thought i would try and register for the set. thanks.

aah, nice memories. I went on a visit at my cousin's house, and his dad showed me gw for the first time and i loved it immidiatly. me and my cousin spent so much time in pre-searing, building up a team of N/E (my cousin) and
E/N (me). we completed everything together, but then i buyed my own account (they had 2 accounts, i used to play one of them when visiting them). I made a new ele called Sacer Ignis, and many other chars too. the new ele was the first char where i achieved canthan grandmaster cartographer. but then, i found out there was a title called Legendary Survivor..and i restarted all chars (not even all of them are restarted

).
first i made a warrior (my main now) Dulcis Invidiis, my frist legendary survivor

, great memories, it was a prophecies character ^^. i'm happy with 4 legendary survivor, i restarted my ele too, but gave it the same name.
now it has obsidian armor (farmed with the blood and sweat of the previous on..) and it also is my record on legendary survivor ->5h^^. yes..it were nice memories, back in the time of being the nice noobie, together with my cousin ^^ May the deleted chars find rest forever..

After some inspection, I now believe this contest was a complete hoax. The "winner" devil_sheild joined guru december 2008, and I have been unable to contact him to congradulate him.

In addition, his post (#136) is garbled english with various misspellings even of his OWN character's name. In addition, I don't think "calling people jews" and being an alcoholic is something an honorable character would do.

Forgive me if I am way off base here, but I believe this entire contest was rigged, because the op did not want to give up something so valuable. I have tried to ask Spellbreaker Frazzy (the OP) about this, but he has not replied.
