Hmm my first?... well that would be my good ole deleted war Shadowx Knight( yes i know scrubby.. but hey i was in 6th grade)...... he was my very first char i got into pre and post ascalon... i've done every mish on him before i deleted... and then all i remember was that i worked my butt off for 15 obsidian shards for a 13-18 crystalline gold.... that i custimized.. and then later trashed after deleting him :P...... anyways i have no regrets because he had pig armor ( 1.5k droks).... but i've deleted to many other chars that i cant even remember.. but my first i always will.....

mhmm my first char was an male ele i made in prophecies which took a LOT of thought cause i knew nothing about the game. My friend told me eles did a lot of damage and monks healed (doh), so i thought ele + monk = good so my first char started out as an e/mo. i stayed in pre for a while becuase i didnt know if there was anyting after until my friend told me. Then i took him through prophecies legit w.o any runs and pugged all the way

finished all missions except riverside province with my ele which i just refuse to finish with good reason

My first character? Was a max height female ranger, with medium (tanish) skin, the wavy/curly hair with the big purple flowers in it. I decided to make her after myself, so I chose blonde hair, and the darkish eyes, and set off to name her after myself! Snowy Sunoui. Snowy is my real name, and Sunoui is how it would be spelled in japanese since I was an anime nerd back then. I loved her dearly and I made it out of pre-searing only to get my account hacked by a friend and my poor beloved ranger was gone. ;( I never did remake her, but how I long and envy her height and pixels. ;( If only I could be tall irl.

Lets see, my first character would be a short female monk(not completely short about 1/4 of the way up) who i got to level three in pre, quit, came back in a year and found i had a mini rurik decided the game was pretty sweet and got to level 12 in pre, and seared myself then got protector of tyria, farmed a bit(i turned my 60 al amror in 55'ing armor, OOPS) then quit again and i really only keep her for birthday presents, 11 days to third b day =)

My first character...well, that would be my warrior, a male warrior. Nearly as short as possible who I started in Factions and still play as my main. I've have a few second thoughts about deleting and making a Derv my main however I like my warrior too much to do so. I've gotten quite a few titles on him and planning on GWAMM in the distant future.

I remember my first character. I created him 2 and a half years ago with my friend Joe. When I was a noob at the time, I got a black dye drop and I sold it to the merchant for 1 gold. I followed the story line step-by-step and I did all of the quests because I thought that was the only way to beat the game, LOL. I completed every mission and bonus with him on prophecies. I got all of the other campaigns and finished the missions and bonuses for them too. His name is Ranging For Ur Head.

My first and main character is my necro, Diablo Outcast. I've completed all the missions and quests in all 3 campaigns and EoTN, gotten most of the titles available and continue to play on him a lot. I was never into getting the best stuff for him. His armor is 4 different pieces of 15k...Cabal tunic, Profane gloves, Fanatic leggings and Bloodstained Tyrian boots. I suppose I could have gotten him Obsidian armor had I not used most of my money on his titles, but he does look rather unique. And I still might get obsidian for him someday.

He's never been much of a farmer either...occasionally on a special drop weekend if it helps get him stuff for titles he hasn't gotten.

I still use him to help guildies with their missions and quests. And I've been collecting all the req. 9 swords in the game while doing it. Crystalline, Obsidian Edge, Violet Edge, Emerald Blade and the Eternal Blade are the only ones I haven't managed to find. Actually I had an Emerald Blade, but it was a req12 and I gave it to a guildie.

If I should receive the prize, thank you very much in advance. And if I shouldn't thank you for the opportunity. Either way have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

My first char is a female necro in prop. I was amazed by the armor art(Cabal, which now i think is ugly.) I was so noob that I spend my points across 4+ attributes and bring firestorm. Got a free run to Drok but I didn't know what it means, so I went back to beacon and continue. On the way to Lich, I watched every scenarios and enjoyed the story. However, I deleted her later, not long after factions released because I decided to leave GW for a while and also because I didn't like her name.

My first character is my beloved ranger. She used to run around in ascalon with her non-max sword and some shield a random player out of nowhere just gave me. She found her favorite pet in the Underworld when she got there, and with the pet and the good ol' trustworthy henchmen she ran around and with her sword untill she was able to cap Barrage.

Since that she has helped Master Togo in Factions and Kormir in the lands of Elona, and the inhabitants of Eye of the North with their Destroyer problem.
Thats the story of my First, and still my main character. Merry Xmas, everyone!

My first character was my warrior, I started it when i only had NF. I had no friends in the game and it took me 7 months to finish NF. I then made some nice friends in the game that helped me around. Now ive finished all campaigns and currently at 4 maxed titles.

I started GW fairly late, around 4 months after it released. My first ever char was a war/mo because i heard it was a easy class to play.
I named him Metal Barbarian (got the name barbarian from the d2 class). I have always like the eternal shield look and still have my first ever eternal shield (r11 str, 31life enchant ,-2 dam (9% lol, super old school). I made my war a chest runner because noone ever partys with a non-exp farmer ,so i can never find eternal blades

. I wanted my war to look unique , so i made my own orginal armor combo, and still using it for over 2.5 years.

I bought GW the second week after relase, to play with a friend who told me he figured I would like to play as a Mesmer or Elementalist. After checking out all the professions, I chose a short female Elementalist and named her Raven Desire. After making my character, I was left alone in Pre-Searing to fend for myself, with a pm from my friend telling me to let him know when I crossed over. Clueless as to what he ment I carried on questing, killing and leveling up. After a couple days had passed, and every quest in pre done I was level 8 and not really sure what was next. Enter my first PvP experience: I got paired up with Reyna, Stefan, and Orian against all human Players ranging from lvl 7-12. needless to say I got smoked 0 to 9 ... lol.
A new chapter begins with post searing ... following the same method applied in pre I began questing and trying to lvl up. After several days of failure I was ready to quit, the game was just insainly difficult for me. After talking to my friend about the game I learned of henchmen and was again able to finish quest. I was a noob trying to solo at lvl 8 with starter armor/weapons ... this was back in the day when hench ai was mediocre at best (as well as my understanding of it) so i started partying up with other people and got quite a bit done. There were so many nukers back then and at times there was a lot of competition to get into groups. I noticed there was a high demand for monks, so I parked my elementalist in hopes of finishing the game with a monk. She sat in her character slot for almost a year before I began playing her again. Finally finished Prophesies with her and spent a lot a time in FoW ... got bored with the game and quit playing for a while. Factions came out and I started playing again pushing her through the story line (so hate the city) and then began with other characters through both campaigns. With the release of Nightfall she got out again. When I finished Nightfall with her and discovered DoA that was all I did until it died. I again lost interest in the game until EotN but this time my monk was first to complete. My Elementalist is currently working on EotN. She is still my favorite character ... and since the advent of heros and grealtly improved henchman ai ... there are no more pug groups ... hard mode with h/h is the only way for me. Maybe a bit of long post but she has done so much in her 43 months of life. It has and continues to be an adventure.

My first character was a mesmer, and i deleted at level 2 after realising it wasnt realy my kind of style, so i made a monk, Karate Masta, named so because the /dance looked like karate to a young boy. He was a proph character, he got a secondary mesmer and then left pre at about lvl 6 and had an intense Me+3 henchies, vs another and his 3 henchies, cant remember the score, but it was a great first taste of PvP. In post a tried to complete every side quest given, and unlocked some skills i thought were good, although they turned out to be complete crap, i joined a good with a couple a friendly guys who i still played with untill 2/3 months ago, and i havnt seen them since. I ventured into the shiverpeaks and got new armour and dyed it bright orange (wtf lol). and with doing all these side quests i was level 16 when i got to lions arch. i continued to complete Prophecies, most of nightfall, EOTN, factions, then came back to finish NF. After beating prophecies i attempted to farm as a 55 monk, i never had much luck getting good drops, just whites for me. I started H&H'ing in EOTN because of the ease of getting a group, and not having to worry about some of the bad people that join pugs, these days im trying to beat campaigns on HM and vanquish with him. I would appreciate the Eternal items as a sexy caster set for him, im still stuck with Wensluas Faith (or however ou spell it).

My first char was a male ele named Kraal Fardale, choosen because i've always liked the idea of controling the elements.
Kraal began his travels in Ascalon, helping out the locals with chores and tasks but, this life was short lived...the Charr, in thier infinate savagery bought about the Searing. Soon after, Kraal heard about an earthquake and the appearance of a huge crevice which lead to parts of the shiverpeaks that were previously unreachable, but close to the Charr Homelands. There he went on the warpathcutting through the charr like a hot knife throgh butter until...he was told that he had to pay to stay in the northern shiverpeaks!
So, beaten back, he tried to pick up where he left off; The Lich Lord was on a rampage. It didn't take long to chase him to the Fire Islands and slay him upon the bloodstone and Kraal realised that he had a thirst for saving the world. And so, he travel to Cantha where he slew the antagonist Shiro his bang of afflicted than are never far behind.
After this, he had quite a name for himself (and a bit a cash) so he returned to the Eye of the North. He found everywhere in turmoil...the Charr he had beaten back many months ago had ocne again swarmed and with them they had unleashed their false gods, the Destroyers. Again, Kraal took it upone himself to grab up his staff and freeze the hearts of those burning fleashed creature, and their leader, The Great Destroyer.
Now, Kraal is currently persuing what he hopes will be him final challenge. He stands in the mouth of torment, drawing up his tactics. For tomorrow he will meet the the entity that seems to be behind all the disturbances in Tyria and Cantha and Elona...Abbadon.

Kraal has acomplished much in one year. Will he finally be able to hang up his boots, will he perish in the attempt, or will the world get itself into a mess again..?

My first guild wars character was a warrior, back in the golden days of 2005 ^^
I made him have long hair because at the time i was growing it long (Tis long now ^^)
His name is Beyond Driven and was inspired by the Pantera Album Far Beyond Driven, just sounded pretty cool and i still like it to this day (and Yeah i know i mispelt it on this forum but not much point changing it :P)
Beyond Driven is an old fogey now, although he still kicks ass at running and loves to give people free runs from lions arch to toa, the scenery there is lovely too and yes hes a wammo at heart

Once i took him on a worldwide run, from ascalon to Denravi, was an amazing run and took me through beautiful places in the game and no matter what character i make, he will always hold the most memories

Hes still got his Standard glad armour with the charr helm, as an ode to the old days and i would greatly appreciate having that set for him, as a thankyou

hi my first caracter i made was a dervish

i know i only started playing when nf was out for some months :P
she is named Elypta Crypton, some funny name i came up with while just randomly typing letters XD
i still have her, but dont play her very much anymore.did al the campains with her but atm i dont like playing a dervish anymore :P hope i will enjoy it in the future as much as i did in the beginning :P
thats was my first caracter.

i think it is a very nice idee to give away a eternal set

Magical Samurai was a ranger at first (now an ele), 'cause I thought Pets were the S*** back in '05. Yeah... Well, that ranger got just out of Pre when I found I liked Ele skills (R/E), so I deleted and made an E/R - with a Pet!
Really, Magical 1 had a short lifespan, but this was back in the day when Pre took me 15 hours to complete the first time; I wanted to do everything in Pre.

But since you've created the forum for us to talk about our characters, perhaps I should take this opportunity to explain something about mine.

Just shy of 3 years ago my brother convinced me to buy Guild Wars. Up until this point, I'd never been a "gamer" but I had a lot of extra cash burning a hole in my pocket, so on a whim I went out and bought Guild Wars. Confused, and not yet used to the intuitive design that most games have, I sought my brother's advice from the moment of installation. His oh-so-wise words of wisdom were something like this:

"It doesn't matter what your first character looks like. No one keeps their first."

So, content with that advice, I went ahead and chose a hair design, face, and skin colour, rather randomly. Then, much to my dismay, I had to choose height, so I was like, "hm, /tallest possible." I mean, I'm not keeping her, right? Well, moving past that, I then was faced with the dilemma of a character name, so like before, I sought my brother's advice:

"It doesn't matter what your character's first name is. You won't keep it."

Again, content with that advice, I grabbed a dictionary off the shelf and handed it to him. I had him blindly select a page and then point to a word on it. That word was, "Illfated." I told him to go once more, and the result was, "Fat."

Here we are almost 36 months later, and my first-ever character was, is, and will continue to be, my main character. I have a horribly flawed, horribly named elementalist GWAMM with several thousand hours, thanks to my brother's sage advice.

My first character was an ele

a friend gave me GW and we created my ele together. His name is Elran The Powerfull.

He is born in ascalon . the ascalonian teachers gave him the power to slay the charr and go ahead to post searing. once there , he learned a lot of new skills and bought new armor. Together with the other heroes of tyria , he gone trough the regions of tyria, and ended at Hell's Precipice. Now his last challenge was to beat lich.
He called his friends for help , and together with them and his pet , he went to the lich. It was a hard challenge but Elran's firepower defeated lich. Elran completed his task , and now he is a real protector of tyria. After that , he traveled to cantha and saved the imperior from death. He killed shiro in a glorious battle. He also saved elona from abbadon , and slayed the great destroyer.

Later .. he completed some titles , and gained the title 'People Know Me'
He's still working on it , but now he spends the most time on PvP.
