When i started to play guild wars i did it with 4 real life friends and my brother. We all started a small guild called "Da Chickens". We all leveled and played alot together. We played alot in kryta trying to complete villany of galranth but kept failing. But finally we managed to kill him with only one of my friends alive.
After my brother got a black dye we could afford a Guild Hall. And started to play some gvg for fun. We played all kinds of random builds and since we only where 6 players we always used 2 hench. Mage and Healer Hench. One time we decided to use Feast of Curruption spike since one of my friends had obersved a game of FoC spike and saw its awsomeness. Our setup was: 4 Foc spike necs. Mark of Protection healing monk. Shock axe warrior with cleave + Mage and healer hench. We did not know how to count down to spikes or something like that. we chose a target. Counted in Skype 1,2,3 Then me and one of my friends yelled "KILL HIM!" We all then used all of our power to get the target down. We did win some games lost some. Since we only had played the game for like 2-3 months we had low or no experience in pvp. So we did not really care about rating and only played for fun. Then we faced a rank 300ish Guild. we had like rank 900-1k. Playing our foc spike. On hunter isle when we faced them we must have suprised them or something because on our first spike we managed to kill the target then we managed for somereason to push them back and when we got to their base they killed us. Then we ressed and rushed them having our player monk staying back @ our guild lord. They where around flag stand and we went on the small path from our base to ens up outside their base main door. Their flag runner was going to leave base when we all came running from the small path. He just opned door and we all rushed in, Spiked him.When we killed him all ran up to guild lord. All of us yelling in skype as bastards "KILL THE LORD FAST!!!" and all was really really excited. When their flag runner Was killed some of their team started to run back and rest entered our base unlocking gate with body guard. It all ended with us nuking their lord dieing one after one. And they attacking our lord, and our monk friend used mop giving him health as hell. When only our warrior one nec and Mage hench was alive their lord died. And we all was really happy. This guild was the most fun i have efver had in guild wars and i really miss the good old times. Not only the guild old times but also the old Prophesis + Faction guild wars. |
