They are pretty inconvenient, but I think if you only put up way more numbers to guess from (1 to 100) and just pick the winner or one closest at the end of the next day, it'll make it more fair. This way, everyone gets a chance to vote on the good stuff after work/sleep.

This sounds like a terrible idea to be honest.

It might prevent a mad rush and give more people a chance but frankly it's a giveaway so any way it's run is fine by me. Beggars can't be choosers, so to speak.
