Well guess I might as well give this a shot, My name is Kyle and I've been playing Guild Wars on and off for around 2-3 years which although is not too long I have grown to love this game and also can't wait for the release of Guild Wars 2. However just like every other player right now I really badly want to get more HoM points, I have currently started a new PvE character to try complete campaigns to get points, This new character has drained all my money unfortunately and I badly need some more to try continue my goal including buying weapons and minis, If I would get say 20e-40e It would help me out so much.

Hello,

First off let me say that what you are doing here is very generous and noble and these games could use more people with that spirit, not only the generosity but the fostering of community and socializing as well.

As for me my name is Michael and I have only been playing guild wars for about 2 months now. Yes I know...I'm always late to the party...my games are no exception.

I could use 20e (not need but certainly could use) in order to help purchase the gear I am in need of for my sin (specifically a nice pair of zealous daggers) and to upgrade my heroes weapons as well and of course purchasing skills.

While I do not mind farming for things myself, my time is limited these days as I am a caregiver for my grandparents and as such my gaming time has taken a big hit and I would much rather spend the time I do have working my through the content rather than farming.

Hey!

This is a wonderful thing you've got going here. Since I'm having a hard time reaching the 30/50 Hall of Monuments goal I set for myself, I was hoping you could give me a financial nudge. With the final exams coming up and then Guild Wars 2 probably getting released soon after, it's going to be quite a sprint to try to fill up the hall.

At this point I'm out of easy ways to get additional points. The miniatures are all about quantity now, so are the weapons and companion armors. If you could help me out with about 20e then I'd be able to get myself elite armor which would be beneficial both in general PvE as well as to the total accumulated HoM points (I don't have any elite armor yet so I'd be getting two points in one swing).

i would like to ask for your support to get a gold minipet for my hall of monuments, i dont have any idea about the market, but from what i gathered ingame i guess i need about 10e for it.
i never really got into the market, even though ive been playing on and off for 7 years now. i think the most money i ever had was ~60k.
i dont have the time to farm nowadays, so i would be really grateful for your help

Salutations! I -like many others- am here seeking assistance to help get my Hall of Monuments full (or nearly full) before the release of Guild Wars 2 which is right around the corner! A quick tidbit about myself: Well, I've been an active member in the Guild Wars community for the past 76 months and am eagerly waiting to get my hands on the next installment of the greatest game known to mankind. I started when a few of my friends from school started playing it and suggested that I did too, and I immediately became hooked. For years I just played so nonchalantly through the game with no care in the world about what I wasa accomplishing. Sure I'd get a few titles here and there, but only because I had the support of my friends to complete things throughout the game. Eventually everyone left leaving me alone to make new friends to play alongside in game, and now with the release of Guild Wars 2 right around the corner I'm really hoping to get to 50/50 (even though I've accepted that it'll never happen).

Now that I've wasted your time reading that paragraph (sorry) I come asking for a generous donations of 35 globs of ectoplasm to help support my financial needs for my Hall of Monuments. More specifically it would go towards buying up miniatures and with whatever I have leftover funding the weapons portion of it since mine is, well....empty. Haha.

I know that what I'm asking for is quite a lot, and if you are unable to meet my requests then that is perfectly okay. The fact that you are even doing this exemplifies your kind and generous soul to everyone.

I've played this game for almost 7 years now with a total play time of ~2.3k hours. I've gotten to 50/50 for HoM, but I can't seem to get GWAMM, simply because of money. During the event I managed to get enough supplies to max party/alcohol, and I'm trying to liquidise everything else I own to buy sweets. These two will take me to 29/30 for GWAMM, and I would really like the sweet title to seal the deal. Somewhere around 20-30e would really help me towards an extra 10 stacks of sweets if I buy smart, which is about half of what I have left on the title (of course there may be people that need it more, and I'll gratefully take anything you can offer). Liquidising the rest of my stuff should be enough to get the other half that I still need. I'd really like to get the title before GW2 to reflect all the work I've put into (and the bad luck I've had with) this game!

My IGN is Harikou Ohakeu I have been trying to catch up with my HoM for guild wars 2 and Im aiming for 50 points so I have to do a lot of stuff so small I have been asking almost everywhere small donation.

How much I need well "As much as I can get" is what I would say but lets leave some for others too ^_^ Something to get me started is enough you can tell me amount you can give. Maybe 30? 50?

Time I have counted to get myself to 50 points is around 500 hours so probably I have enough time to get myself there.... before GW2 release

Hi Luke, I just want to start off and say this is a wonderful thing you are doing and thank you. I have been playing guild wars on and off for about 4 or 5 years now and like most I am trying to get as many points as possible in my HOM before GW2 comes out. I have 16 points right now and I think if you could help me with 30e I would be able to fill 2 or 3 more through a nice set of armor and maybe some minipets as well. I am here to request for two things, one being knowledge, how did you attain such wealth and how could I follow in your footsteps. Another being 30-40e to help me in such a task.

I am trying to complete my HoM and will be using what you intend on giving me as an investment to hopefully be able to grow to to an amount that wills successfully complete my HoM.

I will also be helping my 2 irl friends, one of whom JUST purchased the game, as in a week ago, to complete their HoM.

After all that is achieved I hope to be able to pass on my experience and wealth to the community so everybody can hopefully achieve the fulfillment of their HoM.

Hey! This is an amazing thing you are doing, mostly helping people finish out their HoM for GW2. I too am asking for the funds to get closer to, if not actually get 30/50. Currently I am at 21/50 and I do not have the money to afford Vabbian armor,a destroyer weapon and some hero armor. I am looking for about 45e to cover those costs or since so many people are asking I would be fine with anything to get started. Ideally I will be able to get the 30/50 so I can replay through each campaign to refresh my memory on the game leading up to GW2. Thanks so much for anything you can give!

I would really appreciate it if I could get some ecto for my HoM rewards. I'm currently at 31/50 and farming hard to get as close to 50/50 as possible before GW2.

Right now I am looking to get a Tormented weapon, so around 28 ecto (prices seem vary lately) for an armbrace would be very helpful. Anything is helpful though, and much appreciated!

Hey Luke my man!

First of all thank you for the Dual reduction Shield of the Wing you sold me! (It is frequently used on my dervish!) And also, it's an awesome thing to do what you're doing, thumbs up!

I'd love to add your req8 -2/-2 Tall Shield to my collection where I can promise it would get a good home and stay there to the end of Guild Wars

(It would also have many friends with the same or similar mods so it won't feel lonely!)

Since we traded before you know I'm a keeper and not a trader, so if you find that I'm worthy of such an awesome shield, I would happily take it in and be a good parent

Especially since, after Shield of the Wing ofc, Tall shield & Ornate Buckler are my favourite skins

You can also check out my Buy thread to see that I am serious at collecting these items and have been for quite some time! (Started about 2 years ago and advanced slowly with my collection, only first started to expand it Alot the last 6 months or so when I finished helping all of my friends with cash and could spend them for myself fully).

The reason why I collect these shields is simple: They have sentimental value to me and remind me of the early glory days of Guild Wars! Everytime I look at a shield like this it takes me back to when I first started to play Guild Wars and how awesome everything were back then! I'm sure that you also remember how fun it was when you started play Guild Wars

So this is basically my way of honoring all the good times I had in the early years of Guild Wars. I hope you take me in mind when giving away this beauty!

I assume that you enjoy the occasional wordy, verbose prose. I, too, am a sucker for lengthy adages that strike chords. But, as with everything, I like to punctuate my writing with dynamic... how you say... events? haha. Anyway, on to the begging.

I have been a player too for 6 years. Never 'hard core' as many would describe themselves, but dedicated and a fan none the less. My goal and desire was so very deep, back in the days of the great Fiery Dragon Sword, when Prophecies was everyone's game, was for Obsidian armor... it burned so dearly and deep.

I think my lack of income was due, only in part and in no way am i laying blame, to my choice of Primary. Ranger. I love the Ranger. Being attuned with Melandru, the colors, the themes, the countless times i was left the lone ranger (pardon the pun) on the Ring of Fire Islands, when the Titans caused party wipes, only to bring everyone back with Rebirth. I love the ranger. But, back in the day, there were not too many farms and, looking back, i was very new to the beast that is the MMO.

I think that the Obsidian armor on the Ranger is not the best looking, but boy did he deserve it. For the countless hours of fun and joy, my ranger deserved it. 2 things changed though... both with the release of GW:EN.

How glorious were those Chaos Gloves when they first arrived? To match the equally desired Chaos Axe. Now i finally had something worth while to strive for. Let me look up the price.... The price. 75e. 75 ECTOS! I realized then that i could never adorn my Ranger in the perfect way. I ended up dying Norn Gloves and Boots w/ the Deldrimor Long Leather Coat a deep and shimmering purple. And then i set aside that dream and started working towards my HoM, surviving boring grinds and a hacked account that took me out of the game for almost a year.

Anyway, I'll put this painfully uneasy rant to a rest. What i request is no small feet. And i understand this. I sometimes feel as though, being a dedicated player - always coming back to GW - i deserve to look like the players i envy. But if i deserved it, i would have earned it, right? I request up to 200 ectos. It costs a significant amount of gold and any help along the way is so dearly appreciated.

Thank you for doing this. You are a friend of this community and gestures like this, as well as the MS Toga Party etc., help restore my faith in humanity and the human condition.

I am from france and i have a quite bad English. There are not a lot of french players who are still playing to guild wars, as a consequence i prefer to play in america region. Moreover it's good for practice english

. Now I also prefer to go on eng forums and i saw this topic. I have begun guild wars 6 years ago but i did a lot of long break and now i have to finish my HoM and it s really hard to get ectos to make the obsidian armor :/.

What a great idea! So awesome to help out so many people. To business:

-To help my wife get her Obsidian Armor

-46 ecto (she needs 51 ecto and 14 shards, and I've got enough rare mats to trade for the ~12 ecto disparity)
3) Any additional information you want to relay
-One of my goals was to hit 30/50 HoM before Diablo 3 comes out (tomorrow), and I've far surpassed my goal, but my wife is still down around 26 points. She's still very active in GW, but obtaining her Obsidian Armor has been quite a daunting task for her. I still run dungeons with her now and again to help her get some extra cash, but she's convinced that she'll never finish her armor monument.

My IGN is Horatio Korba, my wife's IGN is Laterra Usagi.
