Edited to add a few comments on scrolls... I've tested a few different scrolls lately, and it seems the Heros scroll is probably the best overall. I've routinely used two or three Rampagers in each leveling run, which at 250g per scroll is pretty cost efficient. The downside is the 30 sec kill duration means you have to pay attention to the timing. The Heros scroll lasts 10 min, which means you can simply activate it and not worry about timing, but at roughly 1k you pay a little more. I haven't tried the Slayers scroll yet, but with a 5 min duration, and roughly 1.2k, they may be better than the Heros. I've tried Beserkers, and they can certainly provide the best experience return, but at roughly 1.8k, and with the 30 sec kill duration, they are not practical unless you really want to spend insane amounts of gold.
