I actually agree with Juliana...
If we dont post, against anything other ppl say... then other ppl would be ignorant of the real value of the item.
Example: WTB Max Dmg Sword 15%>health for 50k. WTS Max Dmg Sword 15%>health for 50k.
Dont you think youd like to comment on the title ? whether, no u cant buy a sword like that for that much. Or youd say You can sell that sword a little higher.
Freedom of speech buddy

Earlier the trader was selling Shards for 4.8k... Price is always changing. I sell mine for 4k, always have.

The trader's price fluctuates, but my last ecto I sold to the trader got me 5k. If the trader only offers me 3k, I hold it for a day or 2 before I check again.

well I made this thread a week ago, and like all of you are saying the price changes, and it was a lot cheaper a week ago... I stopped buying them from people anyways because they go a lot cheaper (cheaper than 3.5k even) later at night from the rare material trader, and it's harder to find them from people, with the traders you can just buy, buy, buy, buy, buy till you are out of money, with people you sit there and advertise and you get like 2 in an hour... the only things I got out of this thread are a bunch of shards (the glob prices shot up so high, I'll admit that now, best I get from a trader is 6.5k, a week ago it was about 4,014g) and that there are a bunch of ignorant hypocrite assholes out there that play this game (you guys)
seriously, you tell me these fixed prices on this shit then you go off and tell me "well uhh the price is always changing" well if the price is always changing and I made this thread a week ago doesn't that tell you something? plus you can't change the name of the thread. The only thing I know is I pwned you all, I pwned you with cold hard facts and all you fags could do was reply with a bunch of estimates and assumptions.
You all got pwned.

I was not ignorant nor a hypocritical asshole. I merely (factually) pointed out that people can sell them for a higher price to the trader, which they can. They just have to be patient and hold them for the right time.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with him wanting to buy shards for that price. Think about it... Where do shards drop? (fissure) how many ignorant low lvl people do you know that can get into fissure and get shards? (none) So how does a nub get his hands on a shard so he can get ripped off? (cant)

lol, no I already understand the prices I posted were lower than what you can get, I've already said this if you have any reading comprehension skills you would have already picked this up, but they're sitting here labeling me shit that I'm not, like for example they're saying I'm a scam? which I'm not, the shards to me now are worth 3.5k, thats how much I'm buying them now, and I'm buying a hell of a lot for that price.. but... globs I've given up on for now, I got 7 total for 4k a while ago... and now they're soo damn expensive I don't even care, I'm just gonna wait until they go down
no, I'm an Elementalist, and you're retarded

ChildrenOfBodom - I actually agree with you. Trading and Buying is all about getting the better deal, so who cares if your customers are igorant?
If people always get ripped off, then it is their fault for being unknowledgeable. the whole point of Player to Player trading is to earn profit while doing it. If everyone is selling everything at the exact same price, then what the hell is the point of selling them to players. If you look at real life, you can buy the same things for different prices in different locations. So is he exploiting? No, he is being a smart buyer.
If you all suck at trading then don't complain about other people. It is good that you are informing people, but don't disrupt other people's business.

Well...Personally, I think that if you offer to buy something for x price, and the other agrees, thats not scamming. I would think it would be scamming if the buyer/seller made the other person believe the item is worth so much more/less then what others think it is. Objects are only worth as much as you think they are. A +5 energy item may be worth 5 gold to me, but 100 gold to someone else. I think it really has to do how the trade went down, what was said, ect. Just because people like to sell or buy something for x price, doesn't mean that you have to pay that. Noone is forcing you to do anything. If you think the item you hold is worth more then what the person is offering, its as simple as walking away and trying to squeeze out some more cash. For example, I started buying wood planks for a little bit to make some money off of parchment. I remember seeing someone pay 6 gold each, which seemed fine, so thats what I offered. It wasn't until someone said people usually offer 8 gold when I raised it to 8 gold, without problem. I don't think wood planks are worth 8 gold, more like 5-6, but since people usually buy at 8, thats what I do. It really depends on how much you think its worth. People even go as far as thinking that +1% more on a mod on a weapon is worth 4320985729084 gold more then one thats not. Yes, people have favorites, and yes people like gaining money...but I think its personal preference that decides the price. If Childrens wants to buy some Ob shards at 3k or some globs at 4k, let him. If he doesn't want to pay more, he doesn't have to. Will he find as many sellers? Probably not. But I don't think its right to call it a scam just to offer less money for something. If that was the case, well, I guess everything in the world could be considered a scam. Just my $0.02. :Steps out of the thread:

I love you dude... thats basically what I've been trying to say but they keep saying I'm "scamming by exploiting ignorance"... I mean, it's not like they ask me "how much are they worth?" I say a price, they say yes or no, and we all get on with our lives.
