just an fyi, if you buy a -5 energy item that has 12 base energy, even if you dont meet the req you still gain 6 energy from the base 6 leaving you with +1 energy. there is a Cities of Ascalon quest reward that gives 3 energy(from its base 6) then -5. so if you still have the quest you can try and do that. Its rare to get because you either get a -5 energy oy -20 health and the health is more common.
