15 minutes till shutdown
I got gw a few weeks ago i first installed it the first day i played it i played for about 15 minutes and it exits out and it says GW.exe
Guild wars is having a problem and needs to shut down to further prevent this send a email to arenanet ive done this 4 times now and i havent played in a couple days now i have a Nvidia Geforce 5200 graphics card what should i do? |

Well, I have no idea WHAT the problem is, but I had it when I started and I just did something else for about a week and then I didn't have the problem anymore.
Maybe it'll go away by itself? |

Guild Wars crashed...
Try updating your drivers to the 77.77 or the newer official 81.xx from nvidia web site. Also do you play other graphic intense 3d game, may be a heat issue, heat builging up then causing it to glitch. Do you get other programs crashing? Also may want to try re-installing GW incase there is a corrupted file in there. |

Have you uninstalled the game eyt? If not, try that and update your video drivers, then reinstall. Shouldn't take too long to do.

Ah yes, i had the same/similar message a few times while farming ONLY IN DIVINERS ASCENT before protective bond got balanced.
It used to happen almost everytime i went there and i never had it anywhere else. I'm not sure there is anything you can do to fix it (although i'm not an expert) but eventually the crashes stopped happening, and i assume it was fixed in a patch. I had a line in the report that said "extremely frequent calls" lol. Seriously annoying so it was.  It's probably a case of "A rare but serious crash bug" that ArenaNet often fix...usually just for Bob and his friend. |
