Default When to merchant ...

Hi all,

I am having trouble knowing when something is completely valueless and I was wondering if anyone had some guidelines on this.

Also, I took some screenies of some items I had laying around. Some of them I was just about to salvage/merchant. I personally tend to merchant anything that would normally sell for under 10k because I am on lazy, lazy trader. Could someone please pick out the things that don't qualify for 10k status here in this picture? I think that this information would help me to learn so that the next time I can do it myself, hopefully.

Thanks in advance.

As a general rule anything with 13,14 or 15 while above 50% health is worth trying to sell (accept hammers), the lower the req the more saleable the item.

Anything with a stupidly high req or whie stance, enchanted or hexed etc I usually sell to the merchant unless it has a good upgrade on it which I always try and salvage 20% & 19% mods sell well as do 10%/9% & 10%/10% chance mods.

Thanks so much for the information, that's helpful to me.

I had thought that certain stance items were nice (such as shields, Bulwark for example) but perhaps this is not so much the case with weaponry.

Hopefully this little tutorial will help out some of the other posters here as well. Ty for the feedback.

Let me expand on this a bit...

As a general rule this is correct... however always look at for the SKIN on the weapon..

If its a battle pick and is 15% while enchanted Re8 sell it to the merchant.. but if its a Fellblade 15% Stance / Enchanted with a req under 12 sell it you can get 20k - 150k+ for the item.. same goes with Chaos Axes, Crystaline Swords, Dwarvin Axes, Sephis Axes etc.. just look in the price check guild stick for a list of all the rare skins people will pay a lot of money for a 15% Stance / Enchanted item with a good skin..
