Is there some way they can just get deleted?

I find it rather annoying that more than half the threads on the first page are closed. I find myself not paying very much attention to those little icons on the left, and more reading titles to see what the person has to offer. Then you find a thread and see something you want, but you scroll down to the bottom and CLOSED!

Maybe I'm the only one who finds it to be harder to look for what you want to buy when more than half the threads are closed. I realize its not a very big deal, and if I would pay more attention to the icons on the left I wouldn't have to even load the closed auctions or get my hopes up, but it just seems...annoying and something easily fixed.

I think the icons should be changed. Their designs are horrible and unclear. If they were more clear, you would not be having the problem you have now.

Because I am striking twice with one swing. The thread starter is learning and people who read the closed threads are learning too.

Evidently, not enough people are reading the guidelines and until we get a warm-n-fuzzy about the forums, we will continue to close and not delete, unless it is something serious.

So thats why they do it.
