Alright guys it's over! Thank you so much for coming! We filled up 5 districts of EOTN and then some. In total we gave away:
25 tormented weapons
25 oppressors weapons
25 destroyer weapons
10 green minis
20 gold minis
60 white minis
180 cloths of the brotherhood
200 zkeys
180 ecto
and some other misc. Things! It was a lot of work, and I'm sorry if you didn't get anything. See you all in Guild Wars 2!

Hey everyone! I'm Shady Tradesman, and I have too much money in Guild Wars. First world problem, I know. In order to solve this problem, I'm giving ALL of it away. This is a pre-thread for a giveaway event that's taking place mid-April. We'll have an exact date (as well as some more very exciting news) in the near future!

This is a giveaway event in the making! Please don't worry about posting your In-game-names. Simply show up at the event when I announce a date.

The main idea behind this is that I'll be trying to give away as many HOM points as possible by only giving away items that are HOM-ready. That means destroyer weapons, oppressors weapons, tormented weapons, hero armors, minis, and similar items.

What a little bit more info? You can watch Quality Discourse Presents: Unpopular Show ep. 1!. This video has a good outline about the event. Also, we're looking for feedback, so please watch it and comment! If you'd rather not listen to our antics, click here to skip to just the part about the giveaway. We've also got a brand new update over on youtube for you guys to check out.

As of right now the date is unannounced. I'm still working out the details with a certain radio station. We should have the update for you guys ready by NEXT WEEK. Chances are it will take place in mid April.

It will be located in Eye of The North outpost AE 1. The only people who are qualified to receive items are those whose HOM is at less than 30/50. Please spread the word! Having more people at the event won't get you any less money, so don't be greedy

How did you get all that money?
I was the grand prize winner in the 2010 Guild Wars Halloween art contest. I sold my Mad King's Guard mini (His name was Honur. Nevar forget. ;_; ) for tons of money.

What is Quality Discourse and who is Hawful?
Quality discourse is our start-up youtube channel, and Hawful is just some guy who, so far, has done 90% of the work in putting a video on youtube. We'll be covering more news about the event on that channel as it comes up. Keep tuned!

I can't tell you guys yet. But stay tuned, I'll be announcing it soon. I will say it's worth somewhere between 100 and 200 ecto, though. Nothing CRAZY, but certainly something!

I subscribed to your vid, it's likable enough to watch once in a while. You have the 3 important things for a video
1. good voice

I would love any help I could get.I m playing guild wars solo,working on some of the easier things like hero armor and mini-pets but I'm afraid armors and weapons will be forever out of my reach.

I am shooting for 15/30 because of this and any help to reach a little higher will be much appreciated.

Such a great (and honestly generous) idea. I myself bought EotN like 2 weeks ago and I'm trying really hard to get rewards for GW2. Unfortunatelly all of the ones i want (my main will be Ranger) are far in the track (22 for Longbow, 25 and 30 for the cool pets). I'm currently 10/30 and slowly possibilities for extra points are dissapearing (I play solo). So surely I would appreciate any help with the track. Since there will be more players like me at this event, I'll for sure give away some of my stuff that i have and don't need (probably hero armors, some crafting mats, miniatures i don't need, also items for Drunked track and Lockpicks). So looking forward for this, cheers

I came here today just by accident, searching for more tips on getting HoM points (10/50) and earning money (I cry every time I check the armor prices), and I stumbled on this.

Best news of the day.

With all the prices I nearly lost my hope.

If I can make it to 30, I'm even willing to donate everything I'm left with after (and everything I can gather by playing until GW2 release) to other players in need of HoM boost, as I will not need anything more
