And since we dont see him much until like, the southern Shiverpeaks, its possible.
Most? Mhenlo shows up while doing various quests in locations like post-searing Ascalon, Northern Shiverpeaks, Kryta, Crystal Desert and then as a hench in Southern Shiverpeaks. So I don't really get your point.

Mhenlo would have needed do his traveling before the searing. In Factions it is shown how pretty much everyone in Cantha knows Mhenlo, so he would have used plenty of time to travel there as well. Also several people said "I thought you were dead." to Mhenlo during the Factions storyline, which my guess refers to the searing and destruction of Ascalon.

***Nightfall spoilers***

Nightfall closes the Abaddon trilogy. The previous two chapters, and Nightfall, came about directly because of Abaddon's awakening. Nightfall solves this problem.

This doesn't mean that the story won't be linked into the previous three chapters, or that we won't see familiar faces, just that Abaddon is no longer pulling the strings.

If you read the Nightfall manuals' description of Corsairs, it tells you they have fleets between southern Elona and the North-West of Cantha... So I guess that Tyrias' up the top, Elonia is below that, and Cantha is South-West of Elonia?

I forgot if the titans/mursaat drove the charr from their homeland (haven't played Prophs in awhile), but if they didn't we might see what drove them anyway.

So perhaps we'll see the Charr and these great giants in Chapter 4...?
Norse mythology has a race of beings known as the Jotnar, or Entas as they are sometimes called. They much resemble the Greek Titans and where the often foe of Thor. If Norse is the culture Ch4 will be based on then it is very likly we will learn more about these Giganticus Lupicus.

Possible clue in this quest? I tried and failed multiple times, I suck. Someone beat this quest for us all, Scorch is in the gate of secrets.

There have been threads in the Suggestion forum about such themes, but nothing from ANet.

Also, as for Ascalon's isolation - From the storyline, we learn that there was some kind of alliance between Ascalon and Deldrimor, and the manual also specifies the times when Kryta and Orr achieved independance from Ascalon. Thus, it can be concluded that Ascalon's isolation has more to do with the Guild Wars and the Deldrimor civil war than a matter of geography.

It's also worth noting that the Charr armies passing through Ascalon were the ones that then continued on to Orr, and there is no mention of them passing through dwarven territory to do so, indicating that at some point if not now there was some (presumably overland, unless the Charr stopped to build boats) link between Ascalon and Orr that did not require passing through the Shiverpeaks.

Furthermore, on considerations towards a possible northern chapter and the Charr being native to a colder climate: There is mention of another pass "deep in Charr territory". This could simply mean that the eastern side opens into Charr territory, or it could indicate the presence of a branch of mountain Charr in the far northern Shiverpeaks.

But what about south and east of Cantha? SOMETHING made the Luxons and Kurzicks start fighting. Maybe the answer lies south?

I think it was the failure of the Emperors death, they both accused the other from not being able to stop it. It was the last time they were seen fighting side by side.

It could also have been a matter of pride. Both sides DID claim their hero struck the fatal blow on Shiro. Add to that the devistating life changes forced on both sides by the Jade Wind and a simple argument over who REALLY killed Shiro could turn into a war.

If the next chapter is set in a mountain/icy region it might be the perfect chance to introduce dwarf race as playable......

I completed that quest. In a nutshell:

Scorch asks you to help find her god(s), one of the titan. You find the titan and it tells her something like 'We used you to achieve a goal (destroying orr) and now you are of no use to us any more'. He then attacks, so you kill him.

Scorch then gives another quest where she says she 'feels betrayed by the titans for using the charr' and seeks revenge. You then have to kill another couple of titans.

It's interesting seeing things from the charr point of view but nothing groundshattering is revealed.

I think that (haven't picked up any hints form manual) that theoretically the Americas, South Africa or maybe Scandanavia will come next seeing that we already have Asia, Medieval Europe and North Africa.

I thought I made screens of it, but strangely, I didn't

However...

Prince Methu the Wise states during some Primary Quest, leading to the explorable area with the vabbian library, that he possesses certain stone tablets - not simply rocks, but ones coming from an island somewhere in the ocean; an isle that mysteriously dissappeared afterwards.

Reminds me of some island we all know and love; it's name's beginning with an "Atlan" and ending with a "tis".

Since not everyone got that shiny NF-Necro-Endgame-Armor, we can't expect to travel to something that... wet. Well, and there they come, the corsairs from page one.

iirc, Mhenlo and co. vanish after you escort them to the settlement and don't appear again until you reach Augury Rock...

And for the life of me, I don't know why Eve just magically appears in THK, since she wasn't with them any other time you met (despite, iirc, her bio in the manual saying they met in Ascalon)...

I had the impression that it basically started as a battle over resources.

Before the Jade Wind, both cultures were fairly rich. The Echovald bloomed, the Jade Sea was full of fish, and while the Luxons had piratical tendencies, they could sail out and raid elsewhere rather than having to raid closer to home.

Afterwards, however, the lands of both sides are impoverished. The islands of the Jade Sea and some parts of Echovald still appear to be fertile, but on the whole, it's a far cry from the resources that either side could draw on beforehand. Nowadays, instead of being able to pluck what they need out of the ocean or off the nearest supertree, the two sides, especially the Luxons (it is mentioned in the manual that the Luxons do feel a bit resentful about being forced into the most hostile territory in Cantha) have been reduced essentially to a subsistance level - their main source of food is probably trading jade and amber for food. And with overpopulated Cantha on top of the more obvious effects of the Jade Wind, food prices in Cantha are probably pretty high - and in recent times, the cut-off of trade from Tyria followed by the Searing and the Cataclysm probably didn't help.

Essentially, the war is one for survival. The Kurzicks and Luxons raid each other because, in the long run, it means they have enough to eat. Of course, a cynic could say that the fighting doesn't actually give any more food to either side (it seems to be pretty evensided, so a gain on one side at the other's expense is probably matched by a mirrored gain/loss somewhere else) but instead culls the population to a level that the food supply can support, but the two sides may ultimately see population control by warfare as better than some other method like drawing straws to see who starves to death.
