i used dye remover on all my monk armor, then threw on pink dye.. and it turned my armor brown! wtf! that was a hefty waste of money!

I just tried to do the Crimson Silver color on knights armor...and it looked crimson silver in the vial, but when I applied it, it looked kind of blueish. Le sigh...

I had a similar experience. I mixed Purple+Silver+Green+Silver to get a Crimson Silver bottle of dye. Unfortunately, when I applied the dye to my Pyromancer set, it came out a light turquoise!

I will definitely take these combinations with a large grain of salt in the future.

i applied green and blue and got my favorite color, turqoise. It looks great on Platemail, but the funny part is I like change, and I might just do that.

Can anyone enlighten me on the bows?

If I put silver on a bow, it turns out black. If I put black on a bow, it turns out black.
But blue is blue, yellow is (although darkish) yellow. Red is red.

How the heck do I get a white/silver(ish) bow?

orange+green turns to brown, not greenish like in the color chart.
And it looks cool in knights.

make sure you are using dye remover on your armor first, if you don't then your armor will already have a dye applied to it, adding another color to your mixture

Mariena is right. Adding a new batch of dye to an already dyed armor will dye the armor as if the armor had ever been dyed in the first place existed. The new dye will completely override the old dye.

Hi,

Do you also have to take into account the natural colour of a specific armour when applying dye? The warrior platemail has a standard blue colour, for example. Does that influence the end result when I would apply a certain colour dye?

a chart showing the effects of dye remover on dyes would be helpful. i've already found that silver+dye remover= white-ish tan, and red+dye remover=dark pink.
