What censorship? I haven't removed Archangel Avoca's link. It was still there in
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Elite_skills_list
the last time I checked. At the very bottom, next to xennon's site's link.

Woah, what the heck mate? Now you're having a personal pop at me? When did I suddenly become your enemy? If you read back through my posts I had clearly stated that I liked your site and it was good, and now you're abusing how I run mine and for what purpose?
When I first started my site I did it entirely out of the good of my heart. I went around and mapped every single elite in the game in my own time and I created the site cause I thought the info would help people. I then started getting 10k visits a day (thats unique people) and so use roughly 3gb of bandwidth a day! I added the adverts on there to pay for my bandwidth cost, as I have no sponsor or anything like that. The fact that I make more than my bandwidth costs is just a bonus. I added the adverts in a section of the site that would otherwise be free space, so it actually doesn't effect the site at all, and I only added text adverts (I could put forced popups on there or something or thos annoying animated ones, but I don't cause I dislike ads as much as the next guy).
Also, my site is NOT a direct subset of GW Wiki, my site has much more info than GW Wiki. Wiki does not have maps. It may have the location in text, but it takes far longer for people to get maps on there. All the information I get for my site now is e-mailed to me by people who love the site and find it very useful, and so they feel they would like give something back to the site and the community. I get around 20-30 e-mails a DAY with information for the site, and I spend my own time (after work in my evenings) updating it so that people in a game THAT I DON'T EVEN PLAY can find their elite skills.
So I would thank you not to label me as some money hungry guy who is only doing this for his own benefit. I have no problem with your site, but I have started to notice that more and more of your posts on forums over the net are berrating my site in an effort to get people to use yours. If you didn't care who uses which one, then you wouldn't start talking down about mine!
Also, it is up to date with prophecies information. There may be the odd one not on there, but the majority of the new stuff is there, and for the most part, the locations that were already there were the ones where people got their elites, so adding new ones that appear later in the game was a bit of a moot point (but I did it anyway out of the goodness of my heart).

Xennon's is definatly the best.
Reasons:
Easy url so you can load up quick while playing GW
He updates offen
His webiste is nice a simple not images and crap everywere.
Easty to understand because theres not huge images and horrible collored and unorganised fonts everywere.
I luv the layout, all in a simple row, roll over explenation and picture link unlike huge wacky collored explanations going down a huge page
And its easy to load if you dond have alot of ram.
Morder,
A proud user of Xennon.co.uk

Thanks for the comments Morder, i'm glad you like the site, but please don't turn this thread into a competition about the two sites. Thats not what I want. I just didn't appreicate that Avoca seemed to be making a personel attack on my site and my motives for creating it.
Which site is 'better' is inconsiquential, and if we start that kind of slanging match here it will never end and the thread will just end up closed.
Again tho, appreciate the comments :-) Not having a go at you, just a polite request to keep this thread from turning into a fireball hehe.

I like Xennon's page a lot. To be honest I don't even know another. But then again, I don't need another. I even mailed him a few locations of bosses cause I thought it would help people, just like he said that he made the site for. Guildwiki doesn't have the places/bossnames that I mailed him at this very moment. (points at Ride the Lightning! ) So I don't believe he got the info from Guildwiki http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Ride_the_Lightning
Instead of arguing about what purposes pages are for we could better put effort in finding that skill that apparently no-one found yet... "Assassin's Promise"
Greetings, Ate of DK

This is exactly what I've said. If you like Xennons better use his! The only beef I have is that my link keeps getting removed from wiki, and that is not fair. Let the people choose.

Avoca,
Glyph of Renewal's description is incorrect. It actually causes spells to recharge instantly.

Hmm, I've tried looking all over Silent Surf for Ritual Lord, but I can't seem to find the boss. There's maps on Xennon's site and Guild wiki, but at that location, there is no boss. I don't know if the boss pack is mobile, and moves around, but I must've been around SIlent Surf 3 times, with no luck.

Make sure you do NOT have 'The Dragon Hunter' quest active, or he will not spawn.

Ah well, I had no hand in that. By the way, it seems that the GuildWiki community really did not like you adding your link to the site. (Again, I was not a party of that debate.)
Oh well, a sorry situation all around. Maybe I should not have pointed you to the GuildWiki in the first place. Apologies.

Hey, I really like this site! And I LOVE the maps' clarity for some reason. Not to get back into the website feud, I used Xennon's for a long time, but I like how i don't need to mouse over the skills for a description (since I use dual screens and GW at full screen forces an auto-locked mouse), and also how the attribute of the skill is displayed. I have several skill images and maps of boss locations, if you'd be interested in adding them to the site!
Thanks for all of your hard work! (And everyone else out there putting earnest effort into the Guild Wars community)

It is all good Stabber. I have no hard feelings towards wiki. Just think people should be fair.
I'm back to updating again. I had some time off there because some things came up. I'm looking to get finished in the Kurzick Areas and Raisu Palace (Non Mission). I also need to get my Sunjiang District Striaghtened out. But the Kurick Areas should be done by Monday! I'm going to finish them tonite I hope.
