jtchans, if you would do one test for me. On any piece other than the chest use just a single Orange Dye, and post back here with what the color is. Also, are all the parts the same type, i.e. all Ascetics?

Ok, then assuming that all the parts(armors peices) are of the same type, then everything makes sense now.

It seems that the new versions of Monk FoW armor Dye like would be expected of any Monk armor, where as the Monk FoW armor from before the update Dyes the weird way like the chart shows.

try green + orange, or green + orange + silver, and if that isn't it, green + orange + orange + silver. Looked very deep gold on my platemail.

Do you know of any mix on old FoW that will make the chest color the same?

If I dye the leg part black will it go to black or only make the green darker?

I think Sjeng is pretty close, Green+Orange+Orange, or Green+Orange+Orange would be my other suggestions.

jtchans, if you want to try match hte old to the mix on your newer part, maybe(big maybe), Silver+Green+Green or Silver+Green+Green+Blue. But if that fails I am fairly certain that Black does make the armor Black, not some weird effect like everything else.

Does anyone know a dye combo that closely imitates the default brown for Ranger armor? I've tried Red + Green and Yellow + Purple but neither has been too close.

I once heard someone say that Black+Orange+Brown is the same as the default brown color, but it's pretty expensive at about 20k a vail.

Charts will be made for every armor eventually. If you have a problem with waiting till one of us gets the dyes and the free time to donate to the project, then make the chart yourself.

Which armors? That mix is useless without knowing the armor it works for.
