It takes 8 of each Dye(including Dye Remover), I would say it usually ranges from 7-10k depending on the cost of each Dye at the time and depending on where you get the Dye(players or merchant).

Edit: Added 15k Warrior Canthan and Luxon. They turned out darker than I was expecting, but they still work.

I checked the merchant a few days ago because I was wondering this exactly. If you were to buy all your dyes from the merchant, and you did every 2 dye combo except those with black, you would end up buying 8 of each dye (plus 7 dye removers).

Last I checked, dyes at the merchant sold for:

Blue - 160 * 8 = 1280
Green - 150 * 8 = 1200
Purple - 110 * 8 = 880
Red - 180 * 8 = 1440
Yellow - 120 * 8 = 960
Orange - 100 * 8 = 800
Silver - 750 * 8 = 6000
Remover - 50 * 7 = 350

Altogether, that comes to 12,190 gold.

Just for curiousity's sake I calculated a full 2-dye chart with black included:
Blue - 160 * 9 = 1440
Green - 150 * 9 = 1350
Purple - 110 * 9 = 990
Red - 180 * 9 = 1620
Yellow - 120 * 9 = 1080
Orange - 100 * 9 = 900
Silver - 750 * 9 = 6750
Black - 8500 * 9 = 76500

Altogether, 14130 for everything BUT black, 90630 including black. Not exactly cheap! :P
Remover - 50 * 8 = 350

Are these colors still updated to today?
Because I tried the Monk FoW mixes on my Female FoW monk armor, and it didnt work. lol
I got a totally different color.

Correct. One has to remember this is a user contributed thing. Can't expect him to spend that much on black dyes for each armor. Thats just crazy.

If you are trying to Dye your Monk Fissure Tatoos and its coming out way different then the way though Dye was changed, if not then it probably b/c you are Dyeing a different Armor(Sacred, Judges, ect.).

That is crazy. That is also why I said, "Just for curiousity's sake." Heck, I wouldn't expect anyone to do a chart with Black...I'm sure as heck not! (I've done three charts thus far, working on my fourth).

I believe there is a pic of that mix in the old thread. If your monk has light skin it will be a white with a slight blue tint, and if you have dark skin it will be a silvery-white.

Before Factions came out doing charts that included Black wasn't too bad, so long as you limited how many you did. When I did the 3 Dye mixes for Black I think I used 50+ Black Dyes and it cost around 350k. So considering the size of that project it wasn't that bad.

Yeah, i'm trying to dye my Female Monk FoW Asectics.
Is there an updated color chart on here for that?

Also, I was using this chart for my monks fissure:

It's the 15k saintly one, and I used 1 blue + the 2 silvers, and it sorta came out the same.
But you know how on the top and the left dye reference things show the color of the dye, then the number of dye it has/needs?
Do you need as many dyes as it shows? Or just 1 of each.

Sorry if that kinda confusing.

That chart, and all the others that say 2 Dye mixes, only show the affects of two dyes at a time. To read the chart just find a color and then the Dyes above it and to its left are the ones needed to make that mix.

I haven't done another Monk Fissure chart b/c I had not tested or seen proof that it was actually changed.

If you don't mind I will try to find you in-game and do a quick test on your Fissure armor to see if I need to make a new chart.

No problem.

Looking at the chart, you might try the usual "gold" dye mix, (Y+S)+(O+S). That's about 2k. I'd wait for Fezz's opinion, too, though.

Like Astraea suggested, the standard YOSS(order doesn't matter) will be for the most part the same across all the Warrior Armors. There will be slight variations, but that should be close.

bobert: Black will make Necro Scars, Black. They changed them to Dye normally.

maybe try a yellow/orange/green combo for the 15k cantha.. usually makes a nice gold
