Generally for warriors, if your going for full gladiators+ascalon helm you need 400 iron, about 120 tanned hides(a bit less than 120 but i bought more for the sake of it) and 5 fur squares

Serious question, Why is a full set of Fissure armour so expensive? Rough estimates put it around 1.5 million for a set. Which, after all the anti-farm nerfing Arena Net has done; this seems a little redundant on their behalf.
Its cool looking armour, but its extremely overpriced. Hopefully the 'Mega Armour' in the second part of the game has upgraded stats as well as looks.

So its not like the enchanter gown that covers the hose... you still need to buy the skirt and the chest piece huh. Hmm... this is getting more expensive.

It's meant as a status symbol. If you're rich and you want people to know it, get fissure armor.

Yeah it does not cover like the normal Enchanter, the skirt is actually the hose.
Here are a couple of pics with the pieces worn separately to help you visualize more.

You have been most helpful thankyou Now I just need to get the money and the items required to craft all this and then get to the crafter. I'd just get the hose and the chest piece. I'll be at that for a while... but since I'm in fire island with 15k armor... my goals are winding down. I have a feeling this fissure armor will be a very long lasting goal for me

A long time ago they changed the icon for obsidian shard. That's what they used to look like. It's just an old screenshot

With the current cost of ecto being 8k and shards 6.5k (as of this morning)
I need 75 ecto (am I even spelling that correctly?) =600,000k
I need 75 shards = 487,500k
I need 250 cloth = I can do this no prob
I need 25 glitter dust =I already have enough
I have 100 cloth
I have 45+ glitter dust
Soooo....
This is going to cost me unless I find 75 shards and ecto...
1,117,500k at current market prices...
*dies*

That's amazing, considering theres no need for fissure gloves and no head piece, this could be the most economic (though still hellishly expensive) fissure armor.
