Hmmm...it's also not willing to let itself be set as my screensaver...

Kyrasantae: your errors seems to indicate some issue possibly with Windows settings of some kind, in that case it looks like it can't find a driver for the mp3 format. Possibly some multimedia software has messed something up with the default Windows drivers.
You can try this one: http://www.free-codecs.com/MPEG_Laye...c_download.htm
Or alternatively there is LAME mp3 codec (also on that site somewhere, or search google)
I'm not sure what you mean by not letting you set it as a screensaver? It sounds like you can preview/test it ok, in which case it might be some permissions issue, again with how you have Windows set up/logged in.
Edit: Before you do that though, can you see the file extensions for files in folders? e.g. the ".mp3" or ".txt" bits? If not you could also try opening a folder, then go to Tools->Folder Options->View and make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is NOT checked. Just a hunch on that one though..

Only if you can wait a few years for me to upload it Video capture was done using Fraps at the highest resolution it supports.
I do believe Fraps and Gamecam use their own video codecs which result in a smaller file anyway. I'm pretty sure it would weigh in at quite a bit over 12Gb if I converted it from Fraps format to Uncompressed Probably not much different with Gamecam recordings.
With the Fraps recording the original is more or less identical to the ingame render. It's just compressing it into something manageable via Xvid or DivX which is the PITA

Fraps makes bigger .avi files, but, in turn, it seems to make better-quality recordings than that of Gamecam.

I have LAME installed and always show file extensions. I can preview it fine, and I have admin permissions on my login, so I dunno what's going on. I'll give it another try and get back to you.

Inspired by Xenrath's excellent screen saver videos, I wrote a small screen saver intended to supplement his work.
This screen saver starts Guild Wars with the "-noui" switch. When the mouse is moved or a key on the keyboard pressed, both Guild Wars and the screen saver will close. If Guild Wars is already running and the screen saver comes up, it will not close Guild Wars nor affect Guild Wars in any way (tested on Windows XP.) None of the files contain viruses, malware, spyware, etc.
You can download the screen saver here: http://rapidshare.de/files/33521709/...Login.zip.html
You can download the source code here:

Can a mod delete the thread I started in Community Works, it contains an outdated version.

As far as I know it still works. Source code is included as well. Just place the .scr file in your Windows/System32 directory and it will show up in the screen savers list.
