Sorry to bunch such an old topic, but I have finally finished this and have updated the first post with all the new info.

(also the forums for the TCG are an excellent place to meet fellow TCGers who are up for a game. I will be playing anyone who signs their AIM or MSN name on the LFG part of the forums this Saturday.)

This trading card game deserves more attention. However it got bug what prevented me to see cards information image.

Hm?

I notice your running normal apprentice and didn't overwrite the files or whatever to include the GW: TCG cards. (those are MtG cards)

As for images, Apprentice doesn't support in-game images.

I tried running it, but it keeps looking for HP_Owner\desktop. You might want to redirect that to something a little more generic. Sounds like it would be fun, though.

If you have problems running it, you can edit your .ini file (just open it with notepad or the like) in the GWTCG folder to change any directory errors.

I think downloading normal Apprentice then downloading the .zip and overwriting all files except for the .ini in that zip will work.

-Fixed spelling error on ailments 'Burning' and 'on Fire' which had an extra e in degeneration.
-Lowered the Energy Cost of Hand Reload from 4 to 3.

Magic Set Editor 2 to make the cards.. I would use a different format just because of the like Wizards/Magic company might not like it or w/e .. just a suggestion. Also, the logo should say GuildWars or something instead of a Box.. I can help with that if needed.

MSE2 is not targeted by WOTC, and they oversee Apprentice (not actually work on it, just "allow" it to progress) so it isn't much of a worry for me!

Do you mean the Apprentice.exe icon? If so it would be much appreciated!

Patch 1.02a:
-Nerfed Divine Intervention to 10 Health.
-Disrupting Stab now lasts for 2 turns.
-Shock now only deal 5 Lightning damage.
-Energetic Spell now makes you lose 5 times the amount of Basic Energy Cards you destroyed in Life and a error in its effect is fixed.
-Essence Bond has an effect error fixed.
-Fake Hero is nerfed so that the Character Cards attributes are disabled.
-Stoning now only deals 15 Earth damage.
-Power Attack nerfed to +3.
-Protector's Strike boon to +7.
-All Ranger spirits now have +5 Health. Ranger Elite Spirits have +10.
-Rule Book edited to make clear that Spirits are immune to Conditions.

Patch 1.04a:
-Lightning Hammer now deals 25 damage.
-Changes to Final Thrust:
*10 Adrenal Cost
*Base of +10, to a max of +20.
-Mind X now deals 10+5 instead of 15+10.

Patch v1.05a:
-The Kinderlock is now named The Kindlerock.
-Vilnar's X is now correctly named Villnar's X.
-Inspired Hex now target's an ally.
-Final Thrust is corrected to match its previous patch's text.

Haha nice one, Love card games and love guild wars. You've put alot of effort into this well done. And before anyone has a go at me I know this is an old thread.

So the new set, Guild Wars TCG - Eye of the North will be coming out sometime near EOTN's release!

It will feature:
-Kurzick and Luxon Skills
-Sunspear Skills
-Cards related to the Bonus Mission Pack.
-More guild cards.
-More Upgrade and Quest cards.
-The New EOTN Skills of course
-New Heroes and Villains
-Simplified rules!
-All cards ported to a new template, which will be seen in another card system soon after its release for Apprentice.
