Love the mod, specifically the High Res textures (disabled the sounds, just don't find they fit this game). I've been looking for ways to improve the graphics in Guild Wars and this just became my #1 mod for the game. With my older graphics cards that struggled to run Guild Wars it might not have been a good idea to run this....but with my rebuilt system (went from a P4 with a 9700 Pro to a Core2Duo with a 8800GT) the game runs great maxed out...so I was looking for something to push it a little further. This is just what the doctor ordered! Thanks!
This should be a command line switch or option in game...don't know why it's not there...even last generation vid cards can run this game with ease.

Even very old computers can run it. My friend's Celeron 1.8Ghz, 512MB ram and Radeon 9200 graphics card does not suffer any performance hit. The game runs slow but it did without this mod anyway. No performance hit for him.
When I suggested this idea, I had so many comments like "oh this is a useless suggestion" and "it will impact performance too much" and "who cares about graphics" etc. So not true, time after time, I hear people's views on this mod, not one negative.
I thank Kunt0r for making my suggestion a reality! (btw, I too don't care about the sounds, I disable them even though I am a big UT fan)

I may be wrong, but could this mod be responsible for improved graphics such as the "shimmer/heat haze above" the lava pits in CoF. Or maybe it's just that I'm noticing things more........

Hmm. After few RA games, I noticed it works only in PvP... When I was farming as my monk, it didn't work Oo.

Sounds only proc if you earn a certain amount of XP. If you are getting little to no XP from whatever you're farming, you will not get any sounds.

Uhm. Farming Ahdashim 300 exp per monster kill... Killed 110 monsters on Hard Mode and didn't notice sounds.
