I tried the combo I saw in the video on GuildWiki - Grotto to Isle of Weaping Stone Guild Hall.
Could only get 1 minute, then had to wait a minute for the drunk effect to kick back in, then travel again and get another minute. So it takes 1.5mins to get credit for 3. Better than waiting 3 I suppose.. but not really all that useful.

I keep having this same problem and I have to keep resorting to this since none of my zones no longer work. I used to be able to go from Nolani AM->nolani EU but that no longer works >< Seeker's passage doesn't work either so now I'm fresh out of zones, and none of my other drunkard friends seem to have consistently working zones either.

I think this doesn't work anymore, I did exactly as the guide says but never got more than +1 minute, as described above, I need to wait for the effect to start again, which means its just a bit faster than normal drinking (2/3 of the time).

The only methods that seem to work now are based off of switching from like europe to asia districts. The problem is, if you do find a zone that way in a specific town it generally only works that day. I used to do american gunnar's hold to europe gunner's and get 3 minutes all day long one day.
Then the next day I ended up going and trying a bunch of different towns until I found one that worked.
Just keep experimenting with towns and hopefully you'll find some. I usually try stuff like zin ku corridor, thunderhead keep, cavalon, house zu heltzer.

Also, you can try starting from international to europe or asia to europe etc.
I just got lazy and was doing american drink to rank 5 then zone to europe and usually would get 3 minutes once I found the right town. Then just zone back to american and start over.
I haven't done it in months, but the times I did it was after I couldn't get the guild hall windows to work. So I doubt they "nerfed" the possibility of it, just always troubling to find the right town that's working.
Random towns and places you'd never expect usually work the best for me.

Anyone tried it with Grog? I tried a lot of distr -> distr, outpost -> GH, outpost -> outpost zoning and it seems that I'm getting 1 minute quite often when zoning out, but NEVER 2 minutes when zoning back...
Any input?
P.S. GH is Wizard's Isle

I used Grog when zoning from Heroes' Audience to my GH (Frozen Isle) and back. It gave me 1 point instantly, but it took another full 2-3 minutes before the last 2 points appeared.
So Grog works just like any other alcohol, now I only need to find a window to burn through my stacks of them

managed to find that i get some minutes going from boreal station -> ice cliff chasms, sadly, i dont get any going back in...going from american districts -> ice cliff chasms -> running back through the zone...most of the time i get 1 minute or nothing, sometimes 2 which seems to screw it up making me zone more to get the third...
if it has anything to do with the price of tea in china its a female nightfall warrior, using firewater and spiked nog
*edit*
i just remembered that i got some points sometimes at the end of the first CoF level as well...

going from euro english droks forge > talus chute, and back in after 1 min, i get the same thing. Again, not very useful, so if anyone has found a 3min spot, post it up... ive been looking for ages and am yet to find one.

Seeker's Passage -> Isle of Solitude (*)
Okay, I have done some research and have discovered for this AND ONLY THIS location... All you have to do is start in Seeker's Passage, drink ONE 1 level alcohol and travel to Isle of Solitude. I have tried and tried again and it doesn't work with any higher intoxication. So, just buy all your level 1 alcohol, drink one, travel to the Guild Hall, and WITHOUT drinking another, go back to Seeker's Passage.
WARNING: This will not work if you try to use an alcohol from Isle of Solitude to Seeker's Passage, but, only from Seeker's Passage to Isle of Solitude.
WARNING 2: You must start with an intoxication level of 3, then go on your way.
HELP!: It also helps to have in your alliance to have two guilds with Isle of Solitude, just go to Seeker's Passage, travel to one Isle of Solitude and then right after the first, travel to the next.
WHY?: More of a success rate. Seeker's to Solitude is NOT a 100% window.

Someone asked about doing this in pre-searing. There were no answers, so I thought I would try out some things.
I haven't had much time yet, but I found that
1) When you zone out of Ascalon City by walking out the main gate, there is a very tiny window during which you get a minuted credited. I'm not sure how big the window is, but it seems in the 5-10 second range.
2) When you zone out by walking through the gate, regardless of whether you get credited for the minute, you are still drunk. If you received the minute credit, then you are drunk at one level lower than you were. If you did not receive a minute towards the title, then you remain at the same level of drunkenness as you were. HOWEVER, the screen effects do not continue to show, so you may believe you have lost your drunkenness level. This is NOT true. If you simply wait until the minute would have ticked off by itself, the effects will return. Plus, you get the next minute credited at this point as well.
3) If you use the zone out method, presumably because you are still drunk, you can drink a 1-point ale to raise your level of drunkenness back up to where you were.
I was able to get two minutes credited in a five-second time span by using this method. But, since the window is so small, it's hard to get much more. Plus, you have to wait almost a whole minute to get the next two minutes. Still, even cutting the time in half is a big plus in pre-searing.
I shall continue testing this idea in the other cities of pre-searing Ascalon.

Since none of these tricks work any more I've been thinking of running a macro to click a drink every 3 minutes. Does anyone know if that is acceptable or will I get banned?
