As to the charr, I believe that they will not nerf it as well. They took it away for a period of time but later reinstalled it. I believe that if they did this, they will not take it away again. But Xena wants to play it safe and out of goodwill, I will respect his opinion until he gives the go.

I meant with his pet, not him specifically, since hes going for the same thing.

by just playing through the game

and kender I already said that once your pet dies and u res it, the enemies won't get anymore exp off of it when they kill it a 2nd time.

what i consider "old schoolers" are those who were like lvl 16-20 before they killed death lvling. You may think there were only like 20 peeps who wanted lvl 20 before they killed death lvling first time but really there were alot more. God antipowers and merciless evilphyre(dont know the other couple) didnt just hide in corner in town so no one but u and 20 others got the idea of lvl 20 in pre. You keep forgetting that the time investment into this title is huge and most will be discouraged by it hence any lvl 18-20 can feel big for a while yet

What will make this title a touch more unique is doing it with a touch harder profession like mesmer or ranger. But i do agree that the title kinda dampens its prestige and thats why i say Incorigle Ale Hound> LDoA
At 50g a piece even this puts its cost at 500k in pre and 166 2/3 hours being drunk

I know some one else who is working on a different title for pre besides those two that makes them look silly

Jryan, a title more prestigious in Pre than Ale Hound and Lvl 20? The only one that comes to mind is Wisdom. But the only way to get that is to either find a bug that gets you gold items or buy them for oodles.

But the only titles that are currently possible to reach are LDoA and Drunkard(2)

Yeah I know there were more than 20 people back then. I was 16 before it was nerfed anyways, Ive had the char for 14 months anyways, when Anti was still at 17, so I didn't magically get the idea from anyone, I met Anti that's why.

Character based or Account?

Max out Champion, Gladiator, Lucky/Unlucky, Kurz, Lux faction titles and get KoaBD?

I started working on this title a while back with a character on my japanese account. It can be pretty tough to find people to open the gate! I sometimes hang around in the international district so anyone around international who wants someone to open the gate can pm me and I'll help you out...

Even if the foes would gain XP from killing your pet repeatedly, death-levelling with a pet would be VERY difficult, or impossible. The key question is: How do you stop your pet from fighting back and killing the foe before the foe kills the pet?

i had to run around till it killed my pet. make the pet kill different stuff. More trouble than its worth, but ive wanted a LS for awhile, and also wanted a lvl 20 in pre for awhile. Figure might as well put em on the same char.

You'll constantly have to babysit your pet and distract it to make sure that it doesn't accidently kill the foe it's supposed to death-level. That means you can't go afk, not even for a few minutes between rezzing your pet. And you can't speed up the process with Fenzy/sacrifice either. That means you'll have to sit in front of your PC for more than 2000 hours, doing nothing but watching your pet getting killed by a Strider or Moss Spider. That sounds like fun. Yawn.

Yaa.. I may or may not finish. But if i cant, then LDoA will be an easy next step. Im going to at least get the first rank.

there are other ways and i was testing to see if pets lvled mosters in pre (which they dont) and was rezing it every 5-10 seconds.

Hint: Ice spear hurts even with your armor on, especialy a pet with 25% health.

In regards to the last thread I posted, I received several feedbacks from players that are anxious whether I'm going to post it or not. A lot of the players including my guild members was asking me not to post the death leveling walkthrough because of several reasons. First, they're afraid that it might get nerfed in the future once a lot of players are doing it. Another is, in case they wanted to make other characters in pre to get the title.

Suppose I did post it to the forum and it did get nerfed, what then? The way I see it, there is not ONE positive thing to post it to this forum. I'm only doing it since I made a promise to someone that I'll do it. Unfortunately, I have to break that promise. Anyways, figuring out how to pull charr to the shrine isn't that difficult...I did it....sooner or later, others will figure it out too.

Remember: hardwork + dedication = reward

If you did figure it out and wanted to help others, it ok to let the forum know that you know how but don't post it. Instead, kindly show them how its done.

Like I said before, this forum is linked to Guild Wars. This forum has 2 functions: to get feedback from players on how they can make this game better. Another is to monitor any flaw in the game so they can manage the system.

What's the point of playing this game if someone keep feeding you with all the cheats in the game...what's the fun in that?
