Any word on how many moa birds you have to take to lvl 20 and kill? And how long it takes as a standard to afk death level a moa without any sort of negative items or what not.

It seems to me that this would take over a month of 24/7 leveling considering you are only killing 1-2 (3 if extremely lucky) lvl 20 mobs every how ever many hours it takes to level them... Doesn't seem to fit the time of the OP...

I was actually already working on a character in Presearing that I was hoping to get to level 16 by not cashing in any quests and just farming XP, then cashing in the quests at the end, before I knew about death leveling, so it's very interesting that they've made a title for it.

The only bad thing about it though is that it makes it impossible for a single character to get every title in the game. Something I would greatly want to achieve. It would really suck to say I have every title, then someone say, ah but do you have this one, and flash their legendary defender title, which you could then say right here, but then they say, ah then where's your survivor title, and then you just have to log and go cry somewhere...

True, true. I guess you’d have to use a Derv, Para, Sin, or Rit for your title quest. Then you *would* still have every possible title.

Edit: I’ve got a purple zealous axe that I’m pretty sure dropped after the update. I’d think that vampiric should also be possible. 6-16 zealous axe of fortitude in pre.. mwahahah.

Edit, edit: Is there an expiration date on proph pre-order keys?

what seems to be going faster on the topic of death leveling is just letting the bird d/l for 1 hour and kil them after that, i have not tested this myself but people are telling me this. if soemone would like ot do some number crunching it just might end up in my guide

Gladiator, I have never waited more than 5 minutes for a kind soul to help me over the wall for free. Even though I live in the US but play euro.

Um maybe thats because they didnt make zealous mod only drop on gold items....
Vamp mod only drops on gold items and is listed in an update and also accounts for its extreme rarity in pre now.

Cause that way you will not have to go to Ascalon again and wait hours for a nice person to open the gate for u, u just remain in the northlands and clear all of it, there are plenty more charr than those two groups there.

And the other question... why do we take the "Across the Wall" quest? Can't we go to the northlands if we don't have it? Or is it because the spawns are diferent?

Thanks
i take the quest so i can use ben wolfson, he was a big help when i was a lower level but now the way i fight charr he dies alot easier, but nonehe less having yourself, Ben, and a pet helps a ton.

Yeh, I think i was exagerating , as soon as I type: "Hi, I need someone to plz open the gate for me.", almost instantly there is a person helpin. And I don't even need to offer gold, but I always pay them 50gp in the end for they're kindness.

Well, I've been farming the charr in northlands since level 8 (jumped the tedious part of "charr at the gate"), and I have never died yet, it's very easy if don't rush and follow the guidelines. Anyway, Mesmers rlly rock in pre, and ofc a pet also helps alot.

Kinda sucks when you go to pay them and then they say something random like "lets kill charr" or "you leave" or "i wanna kill charr"..something around thos lines. Usally what i do id while there at the top near the Lever, and your in the little section that goes to the northlands, stand excalty where they are (only there above you /duh) and open trade and pay the 50g there, so they will have to leave before you go into the portal, and if they dont, just go afk or sumthin for a min till they get so mad that they cant get in the northlands that they will give up and leave.

If your allready in the northlands, aggro the charr and kill em

I didnt start soloing till lvl 14 ._. but im a necro and not a mesmer, idk maybe i thought i wasnt rdy to solo (i think i tried a few times). hmm but soloin at 8 is pretty good,

depends on your level. I posted a chart i believe on page 17 that shows the exaclt amount of XP you would get, from each lvl of a 'monster' and of coruse, your level. A few guildies and I use it and its very helpfun

Considering I get 1-2% for every kill each time i deathlvlin (2% if its lvl 20, 1% if its like lvl 17,18,or 19) I kinda like to think about it that i have to do a little over 100 deathlvlin runs without getting Disconnected and the strider/moss spider is at least 18,19,20.

I guess thats where choices are being made..Im shure people who are playing in like..Factions and some in Prop. even in nightfall who never play in pre have never heard about the title unless they come onto the forums and read about it., or unless they seen Gaile talking about it. So im shure most poeple dont kno about it yet

Hmm.. fortunatly, never hapened to me. Always found polite ppl and usually they're low levels so if they demanded me to kill the charr for them i would just aggro the monsters to they're location and... *ploft* kthnxbai xp leecher

Just in my experience, soloing is a waste. Sure, you loose out on keeping all the drops for yourself, but you're there for the experience from the bosses. Getting 128 exp a run with 2 people, is better than getting 256 by yourself, because you can do it a heck of a lot faster solo (Unless you are a mesmer. then you shuold be able to competantly solo it).

Also, for people using the ranger secondary- when you finally get around to questing. Do not accept it as your secondary, still leave it to the demoing of the skills even after you have done all the other quests, this way when your pet dies, your skills don't get recharged.

for lvl 15 and 16 partner with someone who needs exp and will stll get it from the other charr(i.e. me) to partner with you then they can help u clear area around the bosses and then while you kill the bosses they can go kill the charr from earlier, amish and i did this (cept i was only lvl 6 so i killed oakies) and it worked well.

So, now that more and more people goes for that title, how much time does it approximately take ? Reading the thread, there is some people that say 300 hours, others say 1000+ hours...

How much is it ?
