Hehe, I just had to put in my monk
And I guess it's short, but I'm not going to copy all the information from GuildWiki to here when you can look it up there yourself. It's just to show what the title is, tell some quick and effective ways to get it, and to give some small tips to get through the chapters.
Getting a title is getting a title, if you want to make your own restrictions to getting something, you're not even going too look for a guide.

Anyways, I'll post a screenshot when I got the title, and report when I died. (which I don't hope) Until then, wish me luck. :P

Skillcap gives 5k xp, 270? skills in the game = 1.350 k xp. Just skip Rt, Ele and War bosses in Cantha / Nightfall.
Then there is FoW for quests, my mesmer hardly gets killed there even if i'm not trying to stay alive, good for 100k-130k xp per run.
See, no farming yet, nor any insanely difficult stuff
And good luck on getting your title!

trying to get a paragon up to s3. A bit worried atm tho considering iv gone through the game plenty of times and I find its alot ezier to die in the late NF areas. I might have to run through some other campaign or farm elites or something.

I have an Indomitible survivor (~800k) working up to Legendary. I ahve to say, it is just about common sense.
You don't need power leveling. You don't need to farm. You do, however, need a good source of steady exp. Skill caps are a great source of this, and should be exploited.
I have scored most of my exp from skill caps and I mostly use AI party members, but have on occasion participated in PUGS or guildie groups.
I have told them from the beginning that I am survivor and won't be taking risks. Some have left, their choice. Some have tried to get me killed, and mostly failed, although 'sprint' did save me one time. My party was very surprised when, being the only member still left alive, that I did not quit, but instead ressed the team and we finished the quest (Villany of Galrath). Not all survivors are cowards.
I have to say your biggest friend in getting survivor is your own brain. Never try to kill too many enemies at once. Always pull. If it looks like it is too much to handle, it probably is. pull out, lick your wounds, regen your energy and try again, or bug out, and choose a new build/set of henchies.
My last tip: at the first sign of danger, run. At the second sign of danger, if you are not running, run. At the third sign that things are going bad, and you are not running, I suggest you might like to think about a different title.

It was funny when in pug we had 2 monks that didn't want to heal me at all, which changed when I said them that Legendary Survivor is actually maxed title and that I can die all I want now. xDDDDD

You are comparing something illegal to something that is not illegal, therefore the comparison is not valid.
I got Survivor on my Dervish. I got it by letting my friends and/or Heroes and henchies kill absolutely everything 100% of the time. I will attempt to get Tier 3 of Survivor by being a Doorman. In any case, it's a hard and dangerous journey to Lut and locked gates stops running there, therefore being a Doorman is not really all that dishonorable of a way to get it anyhow.
At the end of the day, the "honor" that so many in this thread complain about is a moot point. To anyone who sees my "dishonorable" Survivor title in-game compared to some of the other posters' "honorable" Survivor titles: there is absolutely no difference whatsoever. The end result is identical therefore having gotten it in an "honorable" way has no relevance to anything.
Getting the job done and getting the result is what counts. How it gets done is not important, as long as it is done in a legal way - as everything stated in this thread is.
I would venture to say that much of the advice in this thread from "honorable" posters is very counter-productive towards getting the Survivor title and hence it would be unwise for Survivor title seekers to listen to such "honor-bound" advice about it.
Original post has some great stuff in there but I think it should also include something like: "Use friends and/or Heroes/henchman to kill everything for you 100% of the time whilst you stay safely out of range of any enemy". That is in my view probably the single best piece of advice to ensure a Survivor title is achieved.

Yep, the results are identical. Thanks to people like you, people laugh and point when they see a L3 Survival title, no matter how it was achieved. Thanks.

Navaros, you also have those people who go and try to up Legendary Survivor to the next level. Take me for instance, I wanted a real challenge, not just Legendary Survivor alone, so I've set a new bar:
Protector of Tyria
Protector of Cantha
Protector of Elona
Legendary Survivor on exactly 1337.500K xp
Ale-hound
I plan to do all this, even get the 3 prots BEFORE I reach Legendary Survivor.
why do you ask?
simple, all I wanted was a challenge and reach KOABD with 0 deaths.
With which character am I doing this?
With an assassin, that's right guys.
I'll post a picture sunday or so, when I reach Protector of Tyria(now 24/25, 500K xp)
good luck everyone^^

If you are having problems try to make a factions monk. Its really easy when you have self helfs all at your disposal. If you do decide to make a monk try to make a prot those skills are so important. Prot spirit, rof, shield of absorption, gaurdian etc. A mo/a is nice because if u get into more trouble dark escape can help a lot to.
As for the factions aspect, the 15 or more 3k exp quests once u arrrive in kcenter makes getting lvl 1 survivor really easy.
