Once again Aylee you have outdone yourself. Amazing program to begin with and the update is fantastic.
I haven't found any bugs yet but if I do you'll be the first to know!
If you ever need a hand with data collection or anything else for future updates, I would love to help out, so feel freeto PM or e-mail me anytime.
Once again, thankyou for making such a useful tool that will help thousands of people, veterans and new players alike.

I saw the problem with the list... Someone had pointed that out some times ago... Actually... well... I hasn't been able to solve it ... But I will never give up and keep on trying to defeat Windows anomalous behaviour!

Aylee,
I notice this is done in VB, is that VB6? If so, I dabble with VB6. I would be willing to look at the column thing, if you would like. The offer is there, if you want to take advantage of it. If not, no offense will be taken.
Again, very nice tool.
Shen

Quick typo find for you - "Crippling Shot" is listed as "Clippling Shot."

Soooo thats what the update did. I clicked just to test it and it said it downloaded something. Maybe when you click the update button, on a sucessful update(s), have the update notes appear in a box. Nothing complex, something just like you listed:
"29-01-2007 Update
- added missing collectors (in factions e nightfall I had omissed quartermasters, secret keepers and someone else )
- added 4 more elite during "A Lanf of heros" quest, in Nightfall on Istan Island (by udoh)

- fixed a bug concerning stats visualization. the program displayed object stats, even if it should be excluded by filters (by udoh) "
Have a note like that for all the updates that were downloaded. This way if something goes wrong after an update, perhaps we can narrow it down by telling you which updates specifically.

Another update
Sigh, with the last update I introduced a bug with collectors name. Now it's fixed...
Snograt,
thank you, I included the correction in this update!
Feathermoore Rep,
you're totally right, in the future day I will set it up. At the moment, only a "history" button should appear. If you press it, a txt file with all the update should appear... But it's not enough and not so easy to understand ... I'll do as you suggested, It's much better!!
Shen Kuro,
Try as you may to look after that "list problem". I will do the same. It's just a simple "ListBox" with 2 columns. And it behaves like a fool horse -.-... I will work on it... If you figured out something, pleeeaaase, let me know
30-01-2007 UPDATE (version is still 1.8)
- fixed the name of "Crippling shot", previously saved as "Clipping..." (by Snograt)
- fiexed a bug introduced with the last update... some collectors name were no longer visible -.-
- added the green item Vera (hammer) dropped by Jayne Forestlight in Echovald Forest (are you wondering how I could forget such a famous item... well I don't really know )

First off, this is a great program, Aylee, thanks for all the work you've put into it.
I do have a suggestion though: I actually preferred having to click on the icons to get the popup description over the automatic rollover-popup. Is there any way for you to put a toggle for this in, so users can choose whichever method they prefer?

I just updated to the newest update, and now I'm getting a Runtime Error '381' Invalid property Array index. It worked fine when I first got 1.8, but now it won't work. It seems to work okay without a personal folder, but when I copy my backup folder, I get the error.
Edit: I found out it's the notes.txt file that's causing the error. If I cut that out it works fine.

Aylee I completely missed that History button the first time around.
But having the history display in the program just looks better than notepad
EDIT - I also get an error: however it is "Run Time Error '9': Subscript out of Range"

DONE!
Sorry to everybody, really. I undestood what happened. I release a new update which fix the error. It is totally my fault and the way a manage the update. Infact, the update function is still not complete. If you launch update and the relaunch it again, it will show you another update available. But it's not true. It will show this new update, till you complete un update on 31-01-2007. I know, I'm an idiot. I didn't think about this date problem
I will set it up next time
However, with this new update, the program will work fine (except for any other new errors that my instable mind could have created -.-)

Fallen Eagle,
I agree with you. I prefer the right click method, too!
In the next update (I think tomorrow, february the 1st,) I would like including a way to chose between the two methods. I have only to figure a way out to manage notes without right clicking on them. Mouse buttons are only 2
And I have to consider these operations:
1) show object stats (at present just holding mouse on it, previously by rught clicking)
2) move maps (at present with left clicking and holding)
3) insert new note (at present right clicking on an empty zone of a map)
4) delete/edit note (at present right clicking on a note)
If I get back to previous method (using right click to show stats) I dunno how to manage points 3) and 4)
If anyone has any idea, pleaaassseee... HELP ME
Thanks a lot
And sorry again to everybody for the previous error.

THIS has to be THE best software download available for the GW fans.
How about a mission listing for all those wanting protectors titles. don't know if that's conceivable or workable or even wanted by the community.
I use two or three spread sheets to keep up with all my characters and its a headache having to find them all and keep updating them. Mapping out would be just about complete if it would do that i think

I wish i remembered what small bit of visual basic i once knew so i could help.
But a suggestion. Is there a way that you could make the columns resizable. Like the in the main selection window you have:
Campaign - Profession info
-------------------------
Skill Listing
-------------------------
Skill Location
-------------------------
Quit - Info - Characters
Would it be easy or hard to change it to make those moveable? Cuz with like the core elites you often get like 6+ locations. There is a scrollbar, but still cant see all of them at once. I could limit the search by campaign i suppose. But its nice to see all the locations at once.
This would be espically usefully for those that use windowed (not maximized) mode. Since you cant adjust it now the size is preset. So if i shrink it to much i get down to only seeing 1-2 Locations at a time before scrolling. Just a suggestion however.
PS - If i find my Visual Basic book, i'll read up on it.

Here's a down the road, enhancement idea. When you hover your mouse of a city/town/outpost have the NPC's listed, so if you're trying to find a skill trainer or dye trader, etc. you can.
Just a thought, sure you have other things you want to do.
Still an excellent tool.

Got a minor bug for you. You've got Kole's Torment listed as a 10% chance skill recharge. This should be a 20% chance.
