I am making a cartography guide for my guild, you can find the portion on frost gate here. Through my way you are guarenteed to get down there, no relying on wolf spawn which you have to make your way 3/4 of the map to get a spawn that doesnt happen very often.

I've just finished on that part of the Shiverpeaks and I don't think it can be uncovered. Although thats not 100% certain.

Hmmm have you hugged the wall there? I can't look on my map at the moment, but if no one else has answered before I get home in a few hours I'll have a look.

You've definitly got a small bulge to clear out there (just compare it to the map in the first post of this thread).

First off, I just wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread... I was at 98.2% before I found it and slowly losing hope, but now I'm at 99.2% and I know pretty much what I have left to uncover.
Can anyone tell me how to uncover this little bit of smudge? It seems to be clearer when I compare my map with the master from the first post... I would be most grateful.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear about what I meant. It's not possible to get the entire patch there cleared, but a bit of the smudge on the right side was clearable. It was easier to see the difference when flicking between my zoomed out map and the zoomed out map of the OP... I was able to get it from the northeast, not from inside Borliss Pass as I had previously thought.
Oh, and knowing about the "secret area" of Talus Chute helped a lot... I had been over that area three times before but didn't find the path up that hill.
99.6 and climbing... I have to redo the sloppy job I did in Lornar's pass and a few other spots. Should be done by tomorrow
Thanks again for everyone's comments, pictures, and suggestions.

I had difficulty with this as well. What I found out (the hard way) is that you have to go into this little crevace between the door on the western path and the wall and it reveals a big chunk. Follow the path, turn right before the last long bridge in the mission, go past the dried up lake thing and there's the door. Go all the way to the left right after you go through the open doors and the smudge should clear up a bit. Hope this helped.

Wrong continent I know, but does anyone know how to get to these areas in the Jade Quarry and Aspenwood marked in pink?
It's driving me insane. When I'm IN the missions, I can't just wander off and spend hours searching for a way in, since I need to help my team. But I've seen them uncovered elsewhere and standing with my face pressed into a jade wall while my team dies is really NOT good. So I figured I'd ask for held before I subjected another team to that (I did fight, though). It's hard enough to get into the Jade Quarry as it is...
If anyone can help me, you'll be my hero for the week...

still have a tiny bit of lomar to go to sometime (got my protector title so I am content for now).....

I'm having some problems getting areas in The Falls and portions of the southern Peaks. I need to do wall hugging besides that (I'm at 89.6%) but I don't know how to get to areas without fighting the way to them-henchmen are useless in the southern peaks around Mursaat, and I don't know anyone else trying to get grandmaster in my guild or alliance who'd help me out
Plus, I'm a nemo. I use the following skills to get around: Mend Ailment, Protective Bond (may change this to Watchful Spirit if I can buy it), Demonic Flesh, Blood Renewal, Healing Breeze, Mending, Offering of Blood OR Shielf od Judgement depending on area, and the last is a wildcard-a hex remover is my current. It's been very effective so far, but now that I've got most of the low level areas (wall/nolani not withstanding) I'm having difficulties. My problem is that this works fine for areas full of warriors, rangers, monks, elementalists, and necromancers, but I can't go anywhere near high level mesmers.
Also, I think the cheating bonus for the timer has been nerfed-you know, the NT/CC trick? I've gone in that mission 4 times in the past 2 days and we haven't been able to make a scarab pop up. My groups would let me explore once we finished bonus, but I couldn't CC/rebirth for them in the first place.
So do I really have to take henchmen and duke it out to get where I need to? All I ever use henchmen for are bait nowadays. The thought of having to go back to them makes me a sad necro, especially because they aren't even 20 in my most problematic areas.

For Dunes of Despair, you don't HAVE to have the scarabs to do the trick. Sometimes there is a Forgotten boss up on the western edge of the fort and you can trick him over and kill him with long range attacks. His body works just as well as a scarab. Failing that, just start the mission and run out of the doors as fast as you can. Often the timer will start but no mobs will attack the ghost, giving you all the time you need to run around in the bonus area.
Good luck!

hey I apologize if this was already answered, but I just skimmed the 60 page thread and couldn't find it. In the screenshot, do you uncover the boxed area from lornars or from rurik's path in the frost gate? I really hope its not lornars but from your descriptions to other people in this thread I think it might be. I walked that area a few times and couldn't get it. My game crashed while I was alt tabbed looking so I gotta go back there sometime =[
