Here you go Bartuc..
Southern-middle edge of Deldrimore (lol more there??? WHo would have thought)
Very eastern edge of gates of Kryta, there is a spot missing
western edge of hell's precipice, after portal wraiths, i think you can get more.
EASIEST SPOT, CHECK THIS FIRST: Whitman's Folley town, walk to the western edge of it.
Your very SE corner of iron mines looks different than mine too, but in a weird way so it may be some artifacting.
Also missing a dot on the southern edge of Frozen Forest, near the western side where there is a summit fort
Missing a spot on the north edge of Talus Chute, over on the western side.
Also missing the very SW corner of Snake's Dance.
That should cover your last 0.1%

Well I stand corrected. I did not think it was possible for me to obtain grandmaster because I started GW too late for the old arena areas and I never visited the ascalon and yak arenas when I was a lower level.
But today I hit 100%. A hearty thank you to Leighwyn for I would never had got this without the use of your excellent maps and this thread.

99.1.....did thk, only got .1 for that northern area...seems .1 is the max I get from any area.....still need to redo wilds and lomar, hope to get to 99.5 this weekend.....no idea when I will get to 100 (will get my protector title first since I only need 2 more bonuses--thk and glint).

Got my Grandmaster yesterday. And although I never commented here, this thread helped me quite a bit on this mind-numbing wall-hugging journey through Tyria.
Some notes: I did this with my Ranger, partly running, but mostly fighting with hench. Clearing an area and then wall-hugging it is probably better than rushing through it while being chased by some angry mobs, at least in higher-level areas where enemies can actually harm you. A lot of the missions have huge areas that you would normally never explore, for example: Bloodstone Fen has an area "behind" the Bloodstone where the final baddies are, Northern Wall charr spawning camps, the lake near the "The Wilds" bonus, Gates of Kryta has huge areas, one of them with dozens of undead at one spot. Where Barrage comes in handy. Aurora Glade bonus area did give me the last .1%. At Riverside Province, clear the first watchtower then speak to Saidra at the nearby gate to get behind that gate (part of the bonus). Dunes was huge too, and you can simply walk up (or better, "run up") an invisible drawbridge at the SW fort to enter that fort and clear a nice amount of fog.
At around 90% I noticed that I haven't explored Reed Bog and The Falls at all. (With this char!)
Double-checking previously wall-hugged areas did uncover some more too. At least in my case. Sigh. You can never be too sure.
Oh, and I have no PvP arenas uncovered.

Soooo.......is anyone working toward Cantha GM with their Tyria GM characters? Mine (Mr Head) started a little late to the party but I've gotten him up to the 80's so far...still plenty of stuff to explore, too!

atm a tyrian character can't get the canthan grandmaster title because some areas in the tutorial island are closed to tyrian characters.
gaile said that would change, hopefully... considering the % i got in those areas with my canthan warrior i can say that the max % a tyrian character can have in cantha is about 92%.

The only areas I'm missing on the tutorial island are the tiny little training area and Minister cho's estate. Probably doesnt equate to more than 2% if I had to guess, so HOPEFULLY there is as much of a buffer as there was in Tyria.
Right now I'm at 83% and have yet to explore the Crater zone of the far east, and the very southern portion of Kurzick territory (Grove -> Unwaking Waters stuff)
I think I also need to edge-walk vizunah, however the heck that's supposed to be possible

Is the little training area you are talking about called Zen Daijun? If not, how can a tyrian character get to Zen?

The little training area is just the little training area, the one you start at when you make a Canthan character. Zen Daijun I was able to get into via the back entrance, by ferrying along with a group doing the 15-attrib quest It required a bit of trickery, but the advantage you have with THIS roadblock is that you're not in an explorable area when you encounter it.

Would like to simply add that I, too, had no arena areas uncovered, AND that upon wall hugging the Ring of Fire Mission, I DEFINITELY DID NOT unfog everything there and I reached 100%. I also never wall hugged Hells Precipice, although I do not know if I had anything to get there, but it certainly looked like it. My point being that there is clearly plenty of leeway. You do not need to clear every millimeter to get 100%.
Also, if you are under 90%, there are relatively LARGE areas of the map that you have missed. Check the above notes for common areas that are missed, and definitely check the map pictures. I was shocked to see the entire northern area of the falls totally fogged in in my map because I was sure I had wall hugged that area, but I had missed the bridge that leads to it.

This is absolutely amazing! There are so few people with even the Master Cartographer title. I felt all alone in doing this until I saw this thread. A big thanks to all involved especially Leighwyn! I bought GW when it was new. After playing for quite a while, completing every quest, mission and bonus, I got bored and started looking for other achievements. As a goal, I started scouting the entire map with just a map to look at for a reward.
When Factions came out, I was pleased to get a title and surprised that I only had 92% of the map scouted. Since then, I've gone over every area again trying to get to 100% and have only achieved 95.9%. With these maps, I'll definitely go back and try to find the missing areas. THANKS!
My problem is, I took that same character into Cantha and completed all the quests and missions there and only have 88.3%. I know I still have a little area in Kurzick to explore but not more than 2% I think. I am missing the 2 mission areas and 1 other city that my character is not able to access. Has anyone figured out a way into these areas with their native Tyrian character? I've heard people say it will be fixed, anyone know when or a work around?
Thanks,
Mighty Joe

I dont think I will be doing this with cantha as my computer cant handle the graphics (and redoing all those fedex quests would make me pull out my butt-length hair)....so 1 character is getting the 100% title for tyria...the others will have to settle for the 80's or 90's (since I am still having problems finding another .9% for my monk and have only a few specks left to unfog on the map--all of my characters are over 70% for tyria except my ritualist who hasnt even gotten there).....I really dont care about cantha right now either.
oh well

That's the best I've been able to do in Cantha. You can get into Zen Daijun by helping someone do the 15 attrib quest (at least, I could the day that factions came out...maybe they fixed the glitch), but Minister Cho's and the monastery overlook I've not been able to set foot in. Also, I haven't had the chance to explore Jade Quarry since no one is EVER joining the mission :P

do the elite mission areas of cantha count for the title? I hope not since it sounds like I will never get into those places....
(my monk has made no progress this week.....he is on vacation so he remains at 99.1 for tyria).

Does Shing Jea Arena Count? I'm at 97.6% and I'm almost positive it's the only place left unexplored. I've done Jade Quarry. I gone back into all the mission explorable areas and huged walls. I'm really at a loss as to what could be left. Does anyone know of an area in Cantha that is easy to miss and about 2% in size?

Shing Jea arena counts, but i doubt it's 2.4% Are you sure you've done ALL the competitive missions? Fort Aspenwood is particularly huge.
Cosyfiep: Elite mission areas may count, i havent been there. They would only count if you can visibly see the area on your map. My guess is no, you cant.
