It's incredibly dubious. As a rule of thumb, don't use third party software unless you've gotten an ok from Anet. Remember that Anet reserve the right to ban your account for any reason they like, so if that program triggers some bot detection code or whatnot you're pretty much screwed. If you're contemplating using it, ask support first.
PS: I've never seen/heard of either that software or that guy.

You've agreed with the rules of conduct when you started playing. one of them is saying:
Quote:
22: You may not use any third-party program (such as a "bot") in order to automate gameplay functions, including playing, chatting, interacting, or gathering gold or items within Guild Wars. You may not assist, relay, or store gold or items for other players who are using these processes.

Pretty sure not a scam but definitely a marco program = not allow. Bottom line is if its not on wiki your taking a big risk of getting ban.

It's a SuperMacro macro, I don't think you'll be ban for using it, a lot of people use supermacro for party/sweets/alcohol titles, but at their own risks.

It's SuperMacro'ed autoclocker with predefined (X:Y) coordinates; in english... you wouldn't get ban unless you tell people you're using it and somebody reports you.
Your account would have very small risk of being detected and flagged for termination, but you shouldn't generally be using any 3rd party programs that ease your playing, they are against the EULA (as akelarumi stated above).
It takes about 30-60secs to identify 40 items in inventory anyway, don't be lazy and identify them yourself!!

Reason: overly-expressing risk that one takes........

I don't care bout what the changes are. the only penalty in GW is deathpenalty (well ok not that dramatic, but account is being deleted permanent). So in rl I would risk things like speeding or ignoring the red light. In game the penalty is too high for me and I would never risk breaking the rules.
My junior high teacher told me. It is no problem to break my rules in class as long as your prepared to take the consequences.....
So to all considering the risk of using supermacro's. imagine that they somehow find out? do you wanna live with the consequences?

First of all before reading I do not condone nor condemn the use of third party programs what you do with your account is your choice, your risk, and possibly, your consequence.
First of all, here is no "bot detection code" in the client, all bans are made by pattern recognition, reports, or through GM directly. Now, seeing as this is a macro and only works through the interface, and not through the true game, the chances of you getting banned for using this are astronomically low. Also, to add to the fact, there are bots that do MUCH worse things than this and have not gotten caught.
However, they are LOW, not zero. By some miracle (or curse, depending on view), they might notice you identifying items faster than normal, which may make them assume you are using a macro and ban you. You will be banned permanently, and will have to live with the fact you got perma-banned because you were too lazy to identify all your items.
So, really, it all comes down to your choice, which I leave to you.
IMO, this isn't worth your time for many reasons.

anet isn't doing anything obvious about bots, they're running riot, however, i would steer clear of it
