I don't know what you mean by "shadow thing", because seeing how a shadow is simply a darker tone, specifically what are you refering to?

I'll get around fixing and adding some stuff today.

In terms of functionality, it works just the same. The only reason why I recommend normal interface size is because the Guild Wars engine does a crappy job of resampling 2D graphics when it's not a 1:1 pixel ratio, this matters alot because this UI depends on the lack of use of anti-aliasing (this is intentionalby design, it's not a bad thing). In english/in a nutshell, it means as if you took a picture and upsized it in Photoshop, and it blurs up the picture. Playing in windowed mode will be just fine. Basically, if you're a nitpicker, stick with normal interface size.

Okay, call me noob, but I just went into Guild Wars and discovered that you can drag icons from the menu and into your playing screen. zomg. I didn't take that into account, so that's why I just left the icons as arrows as it was too hard to draw individual icon. I'll work that out, thanks for pointing out this very important bug.

I believe he is referring to the line on the skill bar.

I'm not sure if I want to / need to change that. It's intentional by design.

Signet of Toxic Shocks icon is weird and seems to have a way bigger line or something. When placed on the skill bar, it has a bigger gap between it and the skill to the right of it.

Mind if you take a screenshot of it? Skill icon pictures are not modified so I don't know what's going on o.O

The thing is, that icon hasn't been touched, in fact it's not even part of the .tpf file. I really don't know what to do about it.

That happens to me all the time. It's not specific to any particular mod, it happens with any mod. What I think is happening is that it will occasionally switch a different graphic for your shadow. I find that a quick minimize/maximize solves this problem.

I'm really enjoying this mod, it has the potential to be perfect.
There are several problems though, which I'll list here. I'm not trying to be a prick, they're just annoying, and I'd like to see the mod fixed up so that it can be used over the default UI.
-The health bar changes back to 'original GW' mode when someone's suffering from bleeding, or poison/disease. It works like it should with all other conditions.
-You really need a dark background for the chat box. It's close to unreadable against light backgrounds.. Something like the party window background (without the white gradient at the bottom) would work.
-The compass border seems quite thick. The rest of the mod seems to have a minimalistic approach, but the compass border is twice as thick as the original. I have my compass twice as large than default, (positioning is key), and the border is really distracting. Might just take some getting used to though, but I think it should be cut down some. Check the screenshot below to see I'm not lying about the radar size. Also, the aggro bubble is hard to see through, which isn't critical, but can be annoying when you're in the middle of a fight, trying to get people with Aegis or whatever. Hero controls aren't skinned, either.
-To be blunt, the lines across the skills don't look like a reflection, or a shadow, at all. You have to make them blend a bit better, or take them out, or something, because right now, they're just lines across the skills. I'd suggest taking them out, and maybe changing the effects monitor color of enchantments to something that contrasts more with the green used for stances/shouts/effects/etc, like I have in the screenshot above using my skills mod. Also, when you go out into a zone, the "container" that holds your skills reverts back to the default interface. That's in the above screenshot as well, note the default white skill bar 'container' to the left of the first skill and right of the last skill.
-It's tough to tell what chat channel you have selected at a glace. The tab should be bigger when selected, or the white highlight on it brighter. Or both.
In order to make an exceptional UI, you really can't afford to sacrifice usability for looks. For example the chat box, while it does look damn sweet, it's an absolute pain in the ass to actually use and chat with. If people want it transparent, they can close the chat box. Otherwise, it should keep its functionality and have a dark b/g similar to the rest of the mod.

I'd like to add that contrary to what people are mostly saying, I like the reflection thingy on skills and I don't see how it makes them harder to read.

yeah basically what BuGi said. I love the reflection crap, it really makes the skill icons look really good, maybe you should turn down your brightness or something.
EDIT:
RavenGT, just to make sure, this mod actually modifys just the overlap of the skill icons, and not the skill icons themselves right?
ie: if I changed a skill icon, it'd automatically have the same reflection thingy, yeah?

Skill icons. Completely. Untouched.
Anyways, moving on. Shawn The Divine makes a pretty good list of what's wrong, so I'll use it as a reference when fixing up the stuff (which is, right about now since I just finished my exam).
Compass - I had a feeling it didn't really fit with the rest of the UI. I made it thick initially because I wanted the compass labeling to be able to fit inside the border. That is going to change.
Aggro bubble - The aggro bubble came out to be very solid and one colored, it wasn't supposed to be like that. But now it has been fixed, and a spirit range bubble has also been added for extra utility.
Hero controls - But...they are skinned. Huh? Is it just me? Unless if we're refering to different things. Need clarification on this one.
Skill bar container - Fixed.
Channel - Actually I think it's fine the way it is. Unselected tabs are shorted in height and is solid color (dark blue). Selected state is higher up with a gloss effect.
Chat box background - I think it's a definite yes by now.
Conditioned bars - Fixed
I think that's all for now.
EDIT: Oh I see what you mean by hero controls. Gotcha.

ok theres no need to be really silly and bold it and do it with periods like a fool :/. You could of just said "No, I didn't mess with the skill icons, it's somehow a changed in an overlay with the skill" or something way nicer (ie: not going all GRRRR BOLD) and less forced/more caring. I'm about as experienced with texmod modding as an ant.
edit:
forget it, i'm not even going to bother with this mod idea. i was asking because i wanted to make all the skill icons high rez and shit but whats the point if people aren't going to be nice about it/helpful. i still like th emod and looking forward to it but still...that's very put offish.

Wow. Ease up on the passive aggressiveness there. They already mentioned that they didn't touch the skill icons themselves earlier in the thread. Possibly more than once.
And for what it's worth, there's already a high res skill mod being worked on at GWO:

I never said it made them harder to read, and offering constructive criticism doesn't mean I hate it. I actually find they're a hell of a lot better looking than the default UI. It's just the transition from the top to the shadowed part seems kind of rough.
