heres a less confusing way:
bring all skills that deal damage, and hit him wit heverything at once, dont bother about healing skills

With my Fire Ele, I only took in Firestorm and Meteor Shower. I took out all my other skills and left them blank. It took me 9 seconds to kill my doppleganger because he just stood there and let Meteor Shower knock him over, so I just cast a quick Firestorm to finish him off and there you go. Easy.

Warrior:
This one i a bit harder than the others. since it relies on random damage spikes basically. Bring whatever you think you can do more damage to him before he can do to you. My best advice for this battle, is don't bring any healing skills or spells. Computers have very high attribute points in most of the skills you would bring, so he woul just wear you down.

He doesnt use healing breeze so bring that

W/Ne - 5 times, 4 times under 7 seconds i got whooped from pillar to post. I tried equiping a hammer and using a sword, changing attribute point, leaving them all unspent, and even taking all my skills out.
Last attempt at 1am and i think "sod it if i die i am going to bed". So i think ok i am a warrior, a sword one, Equip all sword skills (seeking blade, galrath, savage slash, sever artery) and endure pain and shield bash. As soon as it started shield bash on and go sever artery, and then galrath, notice health is lagging endure pain, and then seeking blade. I know to read that seems like a well thought out, cool cunning plan....lol It all happened in less then 8 seconds!!
Remember what your primary is, think slowly. You choose this proffession not to farm, not to impress you choose it because you thought you would whoop a** all over tyria. Remember what your strengths are. IMO dont bother healing. kill him before he kills you. I know that sounds really stupid to say but its not actually that dumb. most of my guild either wiped them out, or got wiped out in under 30 seconds (and thats about 40 people). good luck dude!!

Ugh , Im having a really hard time.
Currently im a Mo/W @ level 7 trying to beat my DoP. Ive seen some of the methods posted, and will use some when I get home but my main problem is the damage he is dealing.
I get hit for maybe 30-50dmg per arrow (yes im using Draknors armor) and since im only lvl 7 I have no life. I just need to know what secondary profession should I go to ensure a win? Mesmer and pack what skills? I dont want to change if I only find that it doesnt work and waste Skill Points on the skills I need.
So feel free to comment I can really use it. Just need a definite way to beat him at this level or level 8. (I will use the divine boon method as heals, but I have so few attribute points I can fit about 6-7. Is this enough?) Thanks for any help.

Alright, Ele way, go earth and use ob flame and earthquake and eruption. pow. over. bonus easily. bring some other crap like foe and melee wards. Earth Attunement wastes his time pretty well too. just dont bring Ob Flesh or it will be VERY boring.

prebuffed with balthasars spirit and zealots fire. activate last step to fight him. then berserkers stance, cylone axe, balanced stance (only cause my axe gives +14% dmg in stance), executioners strike, distruping chop, cyclone axe = gg in 11 seconds (guilds current record)

another ele or monk way...
For an E/Mo or Mo/E...
If you have Ether Renewal, Aura of Restoration, Armor of Earth, and Divine Boon, you can become the ultimate mage-tank. At the time that I was defeating my mirrior self with my ele, I was experimenting with this mage-tank build:
Earth Magic: 10
Energy Storage: 10 (or divine favor if you're a monk primary - it really doesn't make much of a difference)
Fire/Lightning Magic (depending on personal preferance): 11
Basic skills:
1-4: (4 offensive spells from either fire or lightning magic - either one works)
5: Armor of Earth
6: Aura of Restoration
7: Ether Renewal {E}
8: Divine Boon
It was a bit of a long fight, but I never came close to dying. Basically, keep Aura of Restoration up at all times, along with Armor of Earth. When you get close to running out of health or energy, throw up ether renewal and spam divine boon. It was an original idea at the time, but I hear that many people (monks) are beginning to use this build for PvP nowadays. Anyway... Nuke your mirrior self, heal yourself, recover energy like mad, have fun.
Oh, one variation that's worth trying would be to lose the fire or lightning magic and go smiter - use zealot's fire + aura + armor of earth + ether renewal and spam divine boon till the cows come home. this should also keep you alive when your mirrior self whips out that hammer or axe from nowhere. You could also throw in a Balth's aura, but that would mean that your mirrior self could use it too... E_E
I beat my mirror self on the first try with this build.

Missing the big picture - guide for ALL classes.
Once you see how the dopp. works, you can take it down in less than a min with any class easily. You don't need someone to tell you how to do it for each class, you do the same cookie cutter thing every time.
1. The dopp. uses whatever skills YOU choose, and it uses most ALL of them that is is ABLE to (other than healing breeze apparently, but I didn't take that with my monk, why bother, takes too long).
2. Given 1, the key is to adopt a yin-yang type of strategy. You choose a crappy n00b skill bar, but you use it skillfully while the dopp. will run thru the whole bar wasting time or killing itself.
I always either:
a) take just one highly spammable damage dealing skill then fill the skill bar with stuff that won't help it and won't hurt you so it wastes time while I spam away (or even hurt it, e.g. necro sacrifice skills). My ele took flare (yes, flare!), then some skills that wouldn't help at all (e.g. dmg to adjacent targets, since you aren't getting anywhere near it, ward against melee, junk like that), then I just spammed flare while the dopp ran down the skill bar looking like an idiot. It was half dead before it had even hit me once. No need to dodge AoE, you just stand in one spot, spam flare and watch it go down quickly (don't bring aura of rest, or anything that might help it heal), or
b) take some skills it can't use and spam those. With my mo/w I took sword skills since I know it uses an axe up close (bow for distance so don't take bow skills). I just ran up to it right away (while it ran thru some worthless time-wasting skills on the skill bar) and spammed the few sword skills while I hacked away. It can't use the sword skills because it pulls out an axe and says to itself "omfg what is THIS doing in my weapon slot?!?" Once again it went down very quickly with no need for wimping out with healing breeze garbage.
Every class has SOMETHING that fits into a) or b) - I could have taken some smiting to spam for my monk instead of sword for example. The point is that you spam the ONE (or two) useful skill(s) while the dopp wastes time trying everything on the bar then switches to its weapon.
I hope this helps.

Someone an idea for me how to take him out? Might it also be because I do not have any attribute points in Blood Magic that he doesnt cast anything.. ?

Its a long time but i just got this thread linked and so...
Did N/mo yesterday (i was lvl 17 while the dp is 20). Some trick:
1. max your health with items and do not put any major or sup runes.
2. remove points form blood magic, curses and all monk attributes
3. bring 4-5 USELESS sacrifice spells and in particular:
- awaken the blood (make all sacrifice double health)
- order of pain (guaranteed that he will use it for 1 extra damage lol)
4. bring 3 maintenance enchantments which are pretty much useless. the dp will use them and will loose energy regen. I dont think this was needed but was fun to see. I brought life attunement, holy veil and another one that i dont remember.
5. do not use any skill and kill him quick (took 15s for me).

Another addition for anyone that has a Mo/Me. I defeated him with it in about 40 seconds only using empathy and diversion.
way to do it. before last pedastal to activate mesa, cast diversion and skip the scene. since diversion gives u a 75% chance to block, then cast empathy. cast diversion again and run back and forth dodging his arrows. keep casting diversion and empathy as needed. still had almost a full health bar left...
edit. this tactic can work with all mesmers or anyone with mes secondary. relatively easy fight. a guildmate did it using these tactics at lvl 12
