Does that mean I already have all the updates? Who knows, with my bad memory I might have done this sometime before and forgotten about it..

My gw.dat is "3,67 GB (3RED ENGINE GO950RED ENGINE GO370RED ENGINE GO816 byte)" according to windows, shouldn't it be bigger with all updates? :/

EDIT: What the... it's supposed to say (3 950 370 816 byte) above, though I just copied and pasted before... :S
Thats only a tiny bit smaller then mine. You shouldn't have any issues :\

I have been having some issues using KSMod. A while back, while using KSMod to run 2 accounts at the same time, my computer froze. I had to reboot but then Windows could not start up again. The error message said to repair Windows from the original disk (but that did not work). I seem to remember that the file table of the hard disk was corrupted or something like that. I put my hard disk in other computer to try to recover data files (it worked). Then put the hard disk back and low and behold, I was able to boot up from it again.

Used KSMod successful for some time. Only thing that kept on happening that this weekend it kept on kicking me out while going to a new area in a mission in War in Kryta while running 2 accounts.

Fast forward to yesterday evening. Using KSMod for 2 accounts again, the computer became VERY slow, almost unresponsive. I was able to open Task Manager and it showed that GW.EXE was using 440 MB... Could not do anything else and had to reboot. Upon rebooting, computer still was VERY slow, almost unresponsive. This time I was able to reboot in Safe Mode and I am running AVG virus scan. So far nothing picked up (other than a false positive for Texmod).

So my question is: has anybody experienced something similar while using KSMod? Is this related to KSMod or is it a coincidence that this just happened while using KSMod? The memory usage described earlier suggests that something is up though.

I haven't heard of that problem before. I also never tested KSMod over a long period of time, maybe at most 5-10 minutes each release, so any long term memory leak (if there is one) wouldn't cause me any problems.

Has anyone used KSMod long term and not had a large usage of memory?

Kuntz! What's up man, I had no idea you were still updating this mod. I've loved it since the first release, definitely downloading it again.

I've always used it for hours and never had any problems with it memory-leak wise, but I haven't used it in several years so I would have been using a much older version.

I have a question, does KS Mod work good for running 2 or more games?
I use to use mattys GW multi loader or w/e its called.

Are there any problems with running dual games with KS mod, also is there a way to disable the UT sounds?

Anyone still using KSmod for a long time? What is Anets stance on KSmod? Will a users account be banned by using KSmod? I need to hear from people who are still using KSmod without an account ban.

Also, how do I use KSmod and Texmod together? Since both require their own EXE to launch the game.

I seem to have a problem with KSMod and War in Kryta inventory items. Currently I see the problem with Harmony (a unique offhand dropped by WiK enemies) and a miniature Livia.

When I start up GW, I can see the inventory icons fine, but if I zone after viewing them, the inventory icons just disappear. I can still mouse over and interact with the two items, but they just don't show an icon.

This does not happen if I run GW without KSMod.

Specs:
- Windows Vista 64-bit
- GW fully -image'd
- KSMod 3.2

P.S. Other WiK items in my possession do not have this bug (items like Medals of Honor, War Supplies, WiK consumables, etc), but Harmony and Livia are the only non-stackable 'unique' WiK items I have, so I assume it would show up with the other WiK minis and green weapons as well.

Question to people with inv icon problems - what size interface are you running?

I'm wondering if the issue might be related to resizing/scaling the inv graphics.

Kuntz knows about the inventory item bug, but it isn't fixed yet. He last replied about it in July.

Having a bit of trouble myself with KSmod.

I've been using it for awhile now (quite happy with it thanks for the work ), but now I have one issue with it.

I have had no trouble with it or anything, until recently when just out of the blue, my anti-virus said it is a trojan now. And deleted it from my comp. Each time I try to redownload it, once I extract it, it says it is a virus and deletes it again.

Never had any issues with it being a virus before, and haven't changed anything lately that would cause it, yet just randomly out of the blue, it has now been considered a threat to my comp and keeps getting removed.

Any ideas that would help at all?

Yes. Just make a shortcut to it on your desktop and use that to launch GW from now on.

I think I found a bug with ksmod. I was DOAing when my GW started to act up, so I killed it with task manager which normally lets you reconnect. My team had gotten "XXX has lost communication with the server." So I did disconnect, however; when I started GW back up, it gave me no option to reconnect.

I played around with disconnecting for a while and I think virtualization for some reason disables the reconnect after disconnect function. Whenever I tried reconnecting with virtualization on it just sent me to the character screen, when I had it off, it presented me with a normal reconnect screen.

I'll ask again if people missed my question:

How do I run Texmod and KSmod together? They both require their own exe to run the game.

Thanks

I have a problem that only seems to happen when I use KSMOD.
Some icons on my bags disappear when my mouse moves over them (and they never come back) or also when I identify them. The items are all still there but I just can't see them without moving my mouse over each slot in my inventory.

Anyone else has similar issues?

EDIT> I believe I use the interface size "Large" but I'm not sure on that. Will check at home and update. If it is not "Large" then it's "Larger" but I don't use the small setting.

Yes. Known problem. I get it too, involves virtualization being turned on. A previous question was asked, what interface size do we use -- I use Small and get the missing icons.

You can run KSMod when GW is already running, and it will "latch on" to the next GW you select. Start GW with texmod and get to the char select screen, then alt-tab out, launch KSmod.exe, then go back to your open GW window.
