Hey, I was just thinking about stuff I might like in GW, and the ability to be a mercenary that other players could hire, could be fun.

Sure, you dont need a special game feature for this, but might be good to have it :)

Not quite sure about details as I dont even have the game yet, lol.. And I would not say no if someone asked me for help for free, but still, maybe it could be added somehow ?

Would maybe make it easier for people to find someone REAL to party with, if they arent used to just running up to someone asking if they want to party :p

What do you guys think?

Depending on how they implemented it, you seem to answer the biggest concern: why would they waste the time/resources doing so?

If anything, maybe a special tag to your name or something. Like in some games, you could go "roleplaying" and your name would be a different color than the normal player.

But really, I don't think it's that much of a concern. It would probably require a lot of people wanting to use it for them to consider it.

This is another way of requesting looking for group feature.

I do however like the idea that when you are looking for group you could be listed as a mecernary. Adds nice roleplay to it all.
