Quests, Salvaging, Storage, Running, Self-Interruption
Quests :
Red Cloaked Desert/Defending...something (both at king's rise), these unfortunately clash, as I found out after spending 30 minutes, after not having thought they would name a random place which doesn't seem very different from anywhere else. If you have both, then only one will appear, which can become annoying. If anyone knows of others that clash so, please post em.
As well, for the post-ascension elementalist secondary quest, it says to search the Salt Flats, when infact it points to Prophet's Path which is where it can be found so that first needs to be changed, and the Kree Minotaur wanders a great deal, yet the arrow never follows them. I've noticed alot that anything which can wander at all, the quest marker will remain stationary, for something like the Minotaur this can have you searching a zone in circles, and it would be best if these did have better parameters, like for entire groups and such, rather than just a marker area.
Salvaging :
One thing I hate, is finding an axe which is identified with poisoner's and whatever health is (I have absolutely no use of poisoner's, I think only necros and rangers would somehow...), expert salvaging it, and getting the poisoner's. Or worse, experting something to get a common crafting material instead of the upgrade, has happened with runes even which is more annoying. Basically, salvaging needs to either be upgraded slightly to give a more obvious primary item, since runes are worth far more and are more rare than 16 iron ingots, give all upgrades primarily so we don't break a weapon for a single one instead of two, give a selection window of items to take from something since if you're working to salvage an item there are portions you focus on such as iron, wood, hafts, etc., or give us everything in a slight randomness for crafting materials, I know alot of people already have their highest items and don't need these, I'm really close and have been giving stuff away, but, I think it would be more helpful to just give everything, with rares such as steel obviously happening alot less and only with expert salvaging, those would change stuff around.
Storage :
I love account based storage, but first I find it stupid to pay 50g just to access this storage for each new character, especially when you can't do it pre-searing, but beyond that, it gets crowded, fast. If you have a few runes, a few upgrades, a few materials, so me dyes, from four characters...then you're reduced to filling out your baggage. I would just like a personal storage of like a few bags in there. I tend to save items for friends or for later on, no sense in wasting em, and on a long enough run it is easy to be overburdened.
Running :
I know someone has brought up the first portion of this, but, stop autorun while casting, begin again, or completely disable as well. It is annoying to be running away, press healing signet, almost go through with it, he stops and starts running again. So instead I have to be moving forward myself, defeating the purpose of auto run, stop, using the signet, and begin moving again normally. Sucks more for people attempting to cast as it drains energy.
Next thing, a smoothing of many edges of the game, and a more definitive approach to others. I don't know how many times I think of going somewhere only to be stopped dead because someone decided the corner was too sharp or something, not a little cliff step, but, it really looks flat there. Or, how many times I've tried running across a bridge from the side slightly and gotten stuck then had to back up, realign myself, and run back on. Alot of the edges need to be smoothed in the game I believe, there are all sorts of collision hiccups when encountering like cracked stairs, odd slopes, and so on. As well, areas that the designers want to be a dead wall, need to be much more directly noted as so, there are a few which are stupid, and would help with a more jagged raising or lowering of areas.
Self-Interruption :
No I don't mean on regular interruption, that would ruin alot of abilities, but, when you actually break it by movement, or with the autorun problem above which hopefully gets fixed anyway, energy, at least half, needs to be regained. I have accidentally hit a wrong button, or needed to change the spell in mid stream, and if someone notices this mistake before casting, then don't penalize em so heavily at the very least. I mean as it stands, most of the time you afford to just let it cast since it does still take your energy.
Oh yeah and an auction house
