Tried that, post disappeared faster then you can say page load. And the rules say I can't repost or bump for a week over there.

Two possible solutions, IMO. 1) If you have a website/fansite created for your guild say something like... "If you're interested in joining a guild please visit www. ??? .com. 2) Take note of the people you run missions with, etc. If they don't have a cape there is a possible chance that they too don't belong to a guild yet. Why not whisper them and see if they're interested?
The second is how my guild leader recruited his first officer (me). Just check out playing style or whatever tickles your fancy and start from there.
Just my two cents...

I'd like to see more in-game character/guild informational resources. It breaks the mood to have to log off and go look at a site.
- Have a guild "buliten board" where you can put up notes and information
- Allow guilds to put up "advertising" in cities (for a cost), or hire "criers", why not? It would be realistic.
- Anyone considered guild-sponsored arenas? Easy way for the Devs to milk huge gold out of a guild, but the guild gets awesome advertising, plus perhaps they can pick what specs the arena has!
Consider what avenues the kings of old had for using gold and you can probably find some awesome guild ideas.
