Exclamation Auction House

Ok, I can't really stress this enough. An AUCTION HOUSE is something that should have been on GW since LAST YEAR! We NEED an Auction House! The game is CRAZY without one, the TRADE channels are unreliable and you can't even communicate well with people with the Trade Channel on! Please ArenaNET you HAVE to put one in ASAP! Thanks and keep up the great work!!!

Though I agree with you the trade channel isn't that helpful (It just makes the text red I still see people talking in the local channel for trading) I don't think we need an auction house... but change the trade channel in some way... though I can't think of a good way to change it

SWG (Star Wars Galaxies) has something like what I think you’re talking about. Basically in SWG you walk up to a computer like terminal and you can view all items for sale by users. The interface allows you to sort by category or search. You can also put up your own items and specific a price. The best thing of all is the system delivers the items instantly. SWG charges the user a small price to put the item up for sale.

It would be nice if you could also have auctions and set a time limit instead of just setting a one time price.

I hope ArenaNET can implement a system like this or just something to solve the trading spam.

[What I am talking about all takes place in game]

Yeah, WoW has something like that too. In the two cities, Ogrimmar and Ironforge, you have an area that has Auctioneers where you can trade your wares. GW can implement that too, much like they have their storage system.

I agree.
Curent Trade system is realy not user friendly.
It would be cool if they add some kind houses/npcs were we can place our items on auction.

Yep, it's the 1st thing I noticed about GW after playing WoW for a bit... It is so damn easy to get the weapon or sell the item of your choice.

I saw the note that the Dev's are looking into this, but i just wanted to put my 2 cents in. Having an AH would be a fantastic idea.

The current trade system is indeed a bit of a pain. I would love to see an auction house.
And NOT consignment. WoW has an exceptional auction system. Dupe that for all I care.
There IS a risk of it becoming "easier" to get stuff the devs intended to make hard to get though, but all the more incentive to make rare cool stuff.
