You don't even have to go to the store. You can just go to www.plaync.com and buy another account.

I heard a rumor they might add more slots with the expansions, but don't quote me on that, I heard it awhile ago.

I'd say they'd be adding at least 1 slot with the expansions - otherwise they'd have howls of complaints from ppl with 4 chars who then wanted to create a new char with the new profession from the expansion (assuming the expansion add's a new profession that is) and don't want to delete any of their uber1337 lvl 20 character's...
can you imagine all the complaints and whines.. "I dun wanna delete my uber 1337 haxx4r3d pimp master lvl 20 chars!" blah blah blah .. hehe.. then again.. that might be fun to read all the whining and complaints

I don't see why there is a limited number to begin with really. If somebody wants to waste their entire existance making 50 level 20 characters, they should be able to go right ahead...
That being said, if there are new professions (which there should be), then more character slots become a necessity

At least allow us to store some templates locally.... That way we can recreate our favorite PvP characters quickly and it doesn't cost A.net any storage space.

The reason they don't do that is for fear of people hacking their chars (Diablo II anyone?).

But what could you hack on a template? you could change the skills on it? or maybe character level? items? Pre-made PvP chars have acess to all this anyways it would simply be a template that could recall all the skills/items/appearance of a PvP char previously played. Now if there is a way to hack this... id like to hear it, aside form editing using hex editing to use skills you dont have unlocked on your account(which could easily be solved through a check/balance system) i dont see anything that could happen...

More character slots for sure.
I don't really care how they do it:
1. Free extra character slots, just like that.
2. Upgrade through cash, and I am not talking about buying a full extra copy of the game. Rather I would like the option to expand my existing account with extra slots.
3. Get extra slots from special ingame items you have to find.
4. Get extra slots after set amount of pvp victories.

They should make six slots so everyone can have one for each profession. Then for every new profession they make add a new slot. Thats just my opinion though, I like trying new things ^_^
