I know I might sound lazy, but i think adding a key to pick up nearby item, or target nearby item and cycle through item, just like the tab and \ key to target enemies, then press "space" to pick it up. i think that would be helpful.

I personally notice myself, that my fingers stay on the keyboard most of the time during adventure, except the time i go pick up item, i have to use the mouse.

Not sure how many ppl out there will agree with me, but hey... that's a thought. besides, it's just one extra key!

I agree...

And for some, it may not be laziness. Sometimes, your items are behind anothers or you cannot see them at all (and would therefore miss them). one time I almost missed a vial of black dye because a monster dropped it while I was running ahead to attack the rest of the mob.

But someone pointed it out, and I got my 1.5k
