To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

seraphesy Ascalonian Squire Join Date: May 2005	Game suggestion - Rune/Elite trader Before going to do some PvP, i want my character to be able to match those who spent 5000 hours and unlocked everything. That isn't possible with my measy 39 hours spent. There should be another way to unlock RUNES and UPGRADE components, as well as ELITES. Casual gamers will never be able to unlock all superior runes or upgrade components, let alone get elites from bosses. (they'll never know which boss to get from) So, this is my suggestion Make an area... much like Underworld, where u can't survive if u dont have a good team. in the DEEPEST place of this area, put a RUNE/UPGRADECOMPONENT/ELITE trader. put prices i dont know 1k for minor, 5k for major, 20k for superior (higher than what they are being traded) BUT when we buy from this guy, it UNLOCKS the rune. same for upgrade components and elites, elites, maybe it requires 2 skill opoints to get it from this trainer. or something like that... We CANT rely on random drops to unlock everything... I hope this gets considered...
